"Well, how do you feel about the war in Iraq at this point?"

America's morning TV sweetheart, Katie Couric, wasted no time on Wednesday trying to turn the beheading of Americans in Iraq into political ammunition - asking the brother of executed hostage Jack Hensley if he still supported the war.

"Well, how do you feel about the war in Iraq at this point?" the "Today" host asked Ty Hensley, after having him describe the devastating impact of his brother's murder just hours before.

Much to Couric's chagrin, however, Hensley didn't rise to the bait. Instead he told "Today": "At this point, I want our servicemen, I want them to come back alive. But I don't want - and I believe - my brother's told me about so many good people in Iraq. I want to continue to try to help these people to get on their feet."

"This is something that has happened to the United States - they've experienced recently," Hensley continued. "However, the Iraqi people have been having these things going on for hundreds of years by these evil people."

Ty Hensley has been amazing. In this most horrific time for his family, Ty Hensley tells us not to forget the horrors inflicted on the Iraqi people. God Bless You and your family Mr. Hensley.

Maybe she learned her people skills at the John Demynuc school of human relations.

She'd probably just love to have Cat Stevens as a guest so she could hi five him every time there was another beheading of an American hostage.

For a minute, I thought this question was being address to Kerry. Would be funny in a debate:

"Senator Kerry, how do you feel about the war in Iraq at this point?"

Kerry: blah, blah, blah, blah

"Thank you. I have a follow up. How about now? How do you feel about the war in Iraq at this point?"

NewsMax is going to have to move faster to keep up with us Pajamed Ones here at FR.

Within minutes of Mr. Hensley's appearance, I posted the thread below, entitled "Ghoulish Couric Tries to Exploit Brother of Beheaded Hostage to Criticize War, Bush Administration."

I was reminded yesterday, by a caller to the Chris Baker show here in Houston, that when Couric's husband died of cancer she went into seclusion for several weeks.

Seems she has no qualms at all interjecting her worthless a$$ into the grief of others as long as it might benefit her socialist agenda.

Imagine yourself as a young Russian fighting in the fall of 1942, say somewhere around Rzev. German army reached Volga and the Northern Caucasus is under German control too, thousands of soldiers are killed daily in fruitless attacks on German dugouts around Rzev. Soviet generals are apparently no good, the political leadership of the country is much much worse, it was just short 10 years ago when your family was robbed from all the property and everybody was forced to work for nothing in a collective farm and/or face an exile to the Arctic Circle.

Does it seem like a good idea to shoot your officer and surrender? The apparent answer is 'no'.

Today, a vote for Kerry means exactly the same: shoot your officer and surrender and the apparent answer is 'no' again.

I would love to find somebody who can the job better than W (you can look up my messages, I was consistently against going into Iraq), but I doubt that there is such person in the US and I feel that the surrender is simply not an option.

That would be more informative and smell better, too.

Folks, this is not about Couric. Yet another human being was beheaded by savages in Iraq.

Think.
