Thus Spake Kofi
Right-Thinking From Left Coast ^ | Sept. 22, 2004 | Lee

If there ever was any doubt about what a useless, morally bankrupt organization the UN is, let these remarks by Kofi Annan put them to rest.

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan had an ominous warning as he opened the UN’s 59th General Assembly.

“Today the rule of law is at risk around the world,” Annan said. “Again and again, we see laws shamelessly disregarded.”

Annan said many examples of this can be found in Sudan’s bloody conflict, the use of force against Palestinians.

He pointed to deaths of civilians in Iraq who were “massacred in cold blood” while relief workers, journalists and others were “taken hostage and put to death in the most barbarous fashion.”

“At the same time, we have seen Iraqi prisoners disgracefully abused,” he said, referring to the abuse of prisoners by U.S. troops, who are now standing trial on the such allegations.

There you have it, folks. Kofi sees no moral difference between the kidnapping and beheading of innocent civilians and the prisoner abuse, where by Iraqis were made to stand naked with underwear on their heads. Anyone with their priorities so far out of whack needs to be locked up in a sanitarium, which I suppose is why this scumbag is perfectly at home running the UN, the most corrupt ogranization ever devised by man.

"Every nation that proclaims the rule of law at home must respect it abroad. And every nation that insists on it abroad must enforce it at home,” he said. I’m flabberghasted that he actually had the ability to get up in public and say this with a straight face. How many resolutions did your useless organization pass against Iraq, Kofi? And how many of them did you actually have the balls to enforce? I’ll agree with him on one point, however. The rule of law is under threat, the threat of being whittled away into utter meaninglessness. Laws that aren’t enforced are worthless, and the UN is nothing more than a debating society which gets together to argue worthless laws. Update: And if you’re interested in Kofi’s legacy, and his part in the massive corruption that was the Oil-for-Food program, check out this column in OpinionJournal. You lefties who are defending Kofi and the UN, read that and see just what your much-beloved organization and its skipper Annan were taking part in. Baby food.

I actually listened to these very words on NPR yesterday. We have "rule of law".... it's called our Constitution. It's NOT supposed to work for the rest of the world. It's SUPPOSED to work for us....and in our best interest.

The UN needs to be escorted OUT of our country. They are anti-US, anti-Israel....anti everything that we hold true and sacred. They are our enemy....and yet, they operate out of NY. I think it's way past time for them to leave our country, and when I have enough authority to make it happen, I will. Untill that time, I guess I'll just share my opinions here on FR. :-)

Amen. Let's get the U.N. out of the U.S. They are either For us or Against us. I say they are Against U.S. Let's quit giving them a place to meet. Let them find another place. I want them Gone!

You lefties who are defending Kofi and the UN, read that and see just what your much-beloved organization and its skipper Annan were taking part in. Baby food.

Kofi feels he has the final word on feeding children.

After all, he got an award from the Heinz Foundation for his efforts on behalf of disseminating a Heinz product to needy children.

There IS a Heinz company and Heinz Fund and Anti-Bush connection -- Kofi Annan

The Heinz Company is trying to distance itself from the Kerryite Bush-bashers, but several newspaper articles and pictures from October 2003 show that there is a well-substantiated connection.

That connection is Kofi Annan.

In summary

  1. The Heinz Company makes a nutritional supplement in Italy, called Supplefer.
  2. The UN, under Annan, distributed Supplefer to certain countries, including his native country
  3. Annan got a Heinz Fund Award for distributing Supplefer
  4. While in Pittsburgh to receive the Heinz Fund award, Annan criticized Bush's administration during his "Heinz Lecture" .
These pictures and articles, from October 2003, illustrate the connection

I don't even care if we find them another place....just so they're gone from our soil. I would think that GWB's disregard for their opinions would be their CLUE....but it would seen not. :-)

They can NOT side on certain critical issues regarding our Republic without making the unspoken declaration that they are our enemy. They are unrepentent, and against us. Their words and deeds prove this, and they need to be put off our soil because of it.
