Bush-Cheney '04 Launches New Television Advertisement: "Windsurfing"
George W. Bush ^ | September 22, 2004

Posted on 09/22/2004 1:08:33 PM PDT by RWR8189

ARLINGTON, VA -- Today, Bush-Cheney '04 announced the release of the campaign's newest television advertisement, "Windsurfing."  The ad highlights John Kerry's tendency to go whichever way the wind blows on the most important issues facing our nation, including the War on Terror, education reform and health care.  The ad will rotate in on national cable and in select local markets.

Script For "Windsurfing"

President Bush:
I'm George W. Bush and I approve this message.

Voice Over:
In which direction would John Kerry lead?
Kerry voted for the Iraq war, opposed it, supported it, and now opposes it again.
He bragged about voting for the 87 billion to support our troops before he voted against it.
He voted for education reform and now opposes it.
He claims he's against increasing Medicare premiums, but voted five times to do so.
John Kerry. Whichever way the wind blows.

Hard hitting.

The RNC and the president's team are really hitting a stride this campaign.

Cute, but not effective. The RNC had better get after the lies that GWB is going to reinstate the draft, GWB had better begin asking Kerry about his health? Someone here wrote that the public should be more concerned about Kerry's last physical not GWB's missed physical 30 years ago. Bush doesn't have Prostrate cancer. Kerry does.

Notice how the media isn't asking? That includes Hannity and everyone at Fox.

We need something new.

I agree. I wish the Republicans in the U.S. Senate had the b@lls that the folks at the RNC do. Right on!

Kerry has released a response ad called Juvenile. I haven't seen it yet but text is available here:

This is the fastest response time for the Kerry campaign all yyear.

This ad combined with the new swift boat ad so damages him as a credible person that if he said it was raining out, you'd look out the window to make sure.

I think the ad is great. However the libs are stating now that flip-flop is a positive term towards their choice of candidates. They are arguing or spinning the fact "The Complex Problem" needs to addressed differently at different times and to not stay the course. I just do not understand how Kerry can just be all over the map and people accept it as his plan.....

A friend of mine just called.

Her brother is a dyed in the wool liberal college professor.

He always votes for Democrats.

BUT, after seeing Kerry on the Letterman show, he called her up to tell her he's voting for Bush.

He doesn't like Bush, but said Kerry is a "hollow man" (to use his phrase), who can't even answer a simple question put to him by Letterman.

Sometimes the cute and lame ads are the ones that stick in the public's mind. How about, "I've fallen and can't get up." That hasn't been seen for umpteen years yet nearly everybody remembers it. Some times stupid ads linger like some tune you can't get out of your head no matter how hard you try to forget it. If this ad gets discussion on all the talk shows, it served its purpose. How many remember seeing the "daisy" ad with that little girl aimed at Goldwater that ran "hundreds" of times? Yet that ad ran ONCE as a paid commercial and was pulled!!!

Of course -- that would be the next usual step for liberals, wouldn't it? Admitted War Criminal Kerry, and the whole Rat party, are the kind of people who'd piss down your back and tell you it's raining.

Here's another one using his wind surfing being aired by the 527 Progress For America Voter Fund. It is also a very well done ad:

click on the ad that is named "Surfer Dude."
