"Everything they said about Bush is true; they just haven't found the evidence yet." - Dale Channer, 34, florist, the Bronx.

Bet this guy could get you a heck of a deal on a bouquet of pansies!

"They've done a lot of great work over there ... particularly with the Abu Ghraib story, they didn't rush that story on the air.

No, they took their time on this one to ensure they could blow up something that was already being investigated and ensure the biggest blow to the morale of our troops. - Scumbags...

Ok, while the "florist" guy is obviously a raving moon-bat leftist, I found this interesting:
"I view him as an anchorperson, not the person really out gathering the information. I don't think he should resign over this." - Cynthia Lazzari, 44, health-care information manager, Philadelphia.
Earth to Cynthia - Dan Rather is the Managing Editor of CBS News. Got that Cindy - Managing Editor. Ergo he's responsible for EVERYTHING that airs on CBS News.

They were willing to hold back until Burkett revealed the actual source for the documents, the mystery man who met him at that livestock show in Texas.

But when he rendezvoused with Ramirez, an unidentified man showed up instead and dropped them off.

HAHAHAHA!!! **wiping my eyes** I needed that laugh!! Nice try, Kroft. The fallout is to the entire CBS organization, not just 60 Minutes I or II.

Man enough to admit it? Buwahahahaha. Only after the rat was cornered did he admit it.

Rats, ship, sinking.

A sight to behold.

seeBS could save themselves if they would add a little bug in the corner of their broadcasts with a warning like ...

This is believed to be true,
This might be true,
We want this to be true ...

or any other they can come up with.

"Now, when the other one is in trouble, they're piling on. It's unfair, uncalled for and not the way that grown men should act," Hewitt said.

This is why they will never beable to "police" themselves. The media never has any problem "piling on" when they go after someone they don't like, but but it is "uncalled for and unfair" when it happens to them.

Bah! It will be a great day when 60 Minutes goes off the air for good.

Media Research Center:
Dan Rather on Bill Clinton:
"I think he’s an honest man."

O’Reilly: "I want to ask you flat out, do you think President Clinton’s an honest man?"
Rather: "Yes, I think he’s an honest man."
    O’Reilly: "Do you, really?"
    Rather: "I do."
O’Reilly: "Even though he lied to Jim Lehrer’s face about the Lewinsky case?"
Rather: "Who among us has not lied about something?"
O’Reilly: "Well, I didn’t lie to anybody’s face on national television. I don’t think you have, have you?"
Rather: "I don’t think I ever have. I hope I never have. But, look, it’s one thing-"
O’Reilly, jumping in: "How can you say he’s an honest guy then?"
Rather: "Well, because I think he is. I think at core he’s an honest person. I know that you have a different view. I know that you consider it sort of astonishing anybody would say so, but I think you can be an honest person and lie about any number of things."
    O’Reilly: "Really?!?"
    Rather: "Yeah, I do."
    O’Reilly: "See, I can’t. I want my government to be honest across-the-board. I don’t want people lying."

"Choice of attention - to pay attention to this and ignore that - is to the inner life what choice of action is to the outer. In both cases, a man is responsible for his choice and must accept the consequences, whatever they may be."
-W. H. Auden, A Certain World

Dan Rather made his choice! It was the WRONG choice and he should apologize to our President and he should apologize to the the Killian family as well.

We're waiting Dan but...we won't hold our breath.
