I was just in awe at the Kerry Lied rally. It was a catharsis for me. I am sooooo glad I made the drive, even though it kicked my butt to drive 1600 miles up and back in 2 days.
The difference is that you can actually GET tickets for the Bush events. The Kerry events say there are tickets but they are all given out long before you are aware an event is planned.
I called to get tickets for a kerry event here just to see if I could. The lady at the KERRY CAMPAIGN headquarters told me that there were none. She said that they had all been issued before the hdqtrs ever knew there was an event planned! So, they may say you can get tickets, but I bet you can't.
Her words reflect the attitude of many Americans who weren't treated like crap like Vietnam veterans were treated. I guess they think that nothing happened, or that we who were harmed and shunned and treated like whacked out psychos were just supposed to "get over it" and keep quiet when Kerry brags about his 4 months and never even thinks of apologizing to us for his LIES!
I spoke with the Swift Boat veteran that was there as he was the one in the video. He said still to this day, can't understand why his parents and family and friends stood silent while the antiwar protesters and the VVAW were slandering our names and reputations 30 years ago.
For evil to prosper, all it takes is for good men to do nothing.
And great photos and signs, btw.
Thank you sir, it was done with great PRIDE!
That's exactly what they did here in Jacksonville. It's really a lie, since they call it a a 'Town Hall Meeting' open to the public. Yeah the public Kerry supporters!
WHAT A GREAT FREEP!!!!
TERRIFIC SIGNS, GREAT PATRIOTS and FLORIDA SUNSHINE!
Thank you sir, it was done with great PRIDE!
Way to go Chieftain!
It kinda gets in your blood after awhile to freep the freaks.
I counter protested the Code Pinkos in Minneapolis for several months. I've never met a more foul-mouthed, down-right meaner group of folks in my life.
I'm a 44 year old mom that grew up on Walter Concrete (wish he woulda sunk then) and the MSM.
My parents steered me right then as I'm doing with my 7-year-old son now.
Vietnam vets are heroes. Always were. Always will be.
Thank you Chieftain for your service and pass it along to the guys that were with you at the FReep.
My memory for your service is long, my patience with liberals is not.
And we all very proud of you. I say this with tears welling up and a lump in my throat. It's been a long, long time.
Thanks for your kind words, mplsconservative. I will share your remarks to the FReepers and vets who joined me today, it was a team effort.
These are fantastic pictures & signs.....I especially like those giant Kerry Flip Flops!
You're welcome Chieftain,
All I have to offer is words from the heart, but you guys gave EVERYTHING.
God bless each and every one of you.
You made us proud once again.
Thankfully,
Suzie

Kerry betrayed all Vietnam Veterans by his false testimony in the Senate (1971) calling them 'war criminals', rapists & baby killers.
His words were used by the Viet Cong to torture American POWs to force them to sign confessions for acts they did not commit.
While in the Navy Reserves, Kerry and other VVAW went to Paris and negotiated with North Vietnamese leaders while Americans were dying in combat.
Kerry betrayed all Americans fighting in Vietnam.
Kerry is the:
Kerry is UNFIT FOR COMMAND!
Remember his betrayal when you vote on November 2, 2004.
Great Freep you guys..
Here's a suggestion for a banner..
BENEDICT ARNOLD was a war hero too..
"What kind of Kool-Aid did you offer the democRATS? Grape or Cherry?"
Jonestown ... no ice necessary
Way to go, Chieftain and all you freepers! Loved the pics and the report both. All of you probably won more votes by being who and where you were than JfK did inside that hall.
Great Job! Ch. 13's Scott Harris in Orlando reported tonight that he was holding paperwork Kerry had passed out to his supporters at the rally here to be ready to fund a recount if need be.
Thanks!
