Back when I had cable and used to watch Larry King, I remember him doing that too ... usded to drive me crazy. Our kids called him "Lizard King."
As someone who chose to come here from another country to live here in the USA, I often wonder why people who hate living in the US or don't like its government emigrate to another country. There are over 200 other countries out there. If one genuinely thinks the USA is oppressive and racist and intolerant, then move someplace else!
So let me get this straight. Kerry hasn't done a press conference in months, but he decides to do the "talk show" circuit on Letterman, Oprah and what.....the Today show? where he is sure that REAL intellectuals like Letterman will ask him questions?
See, that's the difference between the DUmbs and us. I'll be shocked if Bush loses, but I'll keep going on with my life. Paying higher taxes of course and looking over my shoulder every so often for terrorists, but my life will go on.

Like I said, give this man a microphone and 24/7 access to the three major networks.
Also said that he was a GOP lawyer, got Clinton disbarred,etc,
Kerry really doesn't seem comfortable, and he's so boring....you also can see him pausing and looking for his "talking points"....I thought he was gonna forget what he was gonna say a few times
