Their blind hatred is going to be their ultimate downfall.I agree...the self-righteous hatred of the left has turned them into snarling animals who will snap at any morsel to tear Bush apart...my own brother-in-law hates Bush to the point of irrational bitterness...he's normally a pretty nice guy but the Iraq War has freaked him out (he does have draft age sons so maybe it is a fear thing)...when I said to him that his hatred for Bush made no real sense because the enemy was fascism not the Republican party...he calmed down and agreed that fascism was the true enemy...but he continues to think that the NYT is an objective news source.

Nah - the Titanic took much longer to sink - try the Lucetania. USS Indianapolis. Once the ship has gone under, the sharks will come for the survivors.

DNC's fingerprints all OVER this isHow 'bout John Sasso's fingerprints? And by the way, where is Sasso? He's probably on his way to Africa to hide out with Kerry's old girlfriend.
To: gopwinsin04
they didn't use them because they realized that the documents were probably fake They sure didn't have any hesitation about using them after CBS did.

ITS OVER, FOLKS. If the DNC's fingerprints are on them, you can only imagine the depth of the Kerry Campaign's involvement. How can President Bush debate someone now complicit in a forgery mounted to drive him out of office? The debates really don't matter a hoot right now. Pat Caddell warned the Democrats about this and you can write finit to the 2004 Election as of today. All the rest is fallout stuff.

"Tony Coelho admitted on Hardball tonight that the DNC had the memos before CBS but that they didn't use them because they realized that the documents were probably fake."
So then why are these documents being featured in those anti-Bush "Fortunate Son" ads?? This stinks to high heaven. Something's going on.

So, let's see now.
The DNC had the memos before CBS, and knew they were fake. On the basis of these fake memos, they prepared the "Fortunate Son" campaign, complete with coordinated talking points and video. They sent Harkin and Edwards out to demand the President respond to the charges in the fake memos. McAwful said the documents were authentic, that they backed CBS, and also demanded a full accounting from the President.
On nothing more than the basis of this utterly preposterous sequence of coincidences, it is transparently obvious that at a minimum the DNC and CBS coordinated an attack on the President.
To any of my fellow Freepers who are JAG:
Have CBS and the DNC falsely accused the President and/or others of a criminal conspiracy and UCMJ violation based on forged Federal documents? If so, are there heads to be had?

Look for further flurries of disinformation from the DNC/Kerry campaign to focus the attention on CBS.

speaking of the Ostrich...she's been very quiet lately...
she sure knew about Texas for Truth in that screed she published after the RNC convention..
This has coordination 527, DNC, Kerry and other 527 (CBS) written all over it.

Every time I see or hear of Tony Coelho, it reminds me of the song "I Eat Cannibals," the double-entendre laden novelty song of the '80s recorded by one-hit wonder British girl group Total Coelo.
Total Coelo was sort of the prototype for the much more successful group some ten years hence, the Spice Girls. Couldn't sing all that well, but really hot.

The DNC jumped on this because it was the "missing link" for the AWOL charge they had been sure was true (inside thier twisted skulls) since February.
February also coincides with the date Burkett appeared on MSNBC AND the .pdf creation date of the "memos".

I've been noticing that, too. One week, she was on H&C, calling for unbridled nastiness, and now, she hasn't brought it up, anymore.

Burkett to DNC to CBS with the DNC referring (via an off the record channel) CBS back to Burkett so the DNC could say that had no hand in itBurkett>DNC>CBS>Burkett...
Seems plausible. I think there are two things missing or incomplete at the moment...
1. Where do we insert the first $$$
2. Who at the DNC 'advised' Burkett

"So the Kerry campaign was in possession of forged federal documents but did not report them? Hmmmmmm."
Kerry is very familiar with handling falsified documents, What difference would another 60 or 600 mean to him.

Yes, I thought about that. But if you believe Coelho (a stretch, I admit), the DNC knew the documents were fake.
If it is indeed a crime (not just a civil matter) to falsely accuse the President and/or others of a conspiracy, I'm wondering if the DNC and CBS can themselves be prosecuted for conspiracy to commit that crime. I'm not a lawyer, but I don't believe such a conspiracy requires active coordination (even though I think there's a strong likelihood that direct coordination did occur).
