I could not believe the reports coming out of Vietnam on CBS -- my Dad was always mad at Cronkite. Always had the feeling that Cronkite was on the side of the North Vietnamese and always thought our soldiers were the bad guys. Now I think that is exactly what was going on. My Dad and I used to sit in the living room and get mad at CBS News and their specials. :)

I'll admit this is a little audacious. But it might be worth playing a liiiiiittle "what if" regarding Mapes and how that all came about. Is it just (don't lock me up just yet) possible that the Abu Gharib photos (oddly, all taken on one day) were in some fashion instigated? or that Mapes heard there was some abuse, and "arranged" for photos to be taken?

We've been doing this same kind of thing for YEARS. But now, NOW,our "work" has been picked up by the world. :-)

There was a group of us here,who did research on Hillary and all the things she stole/tool from the White House and what she asked (told) people to give her. Brit Hume or someone on his staff read ALL of those threads and he reported it on his show,without giving FR or any of us any credit.At the time,we didn't care,just as long as the info was getting out. But now,FR has gotten some credit....at long last. :-)
