Rather Lashes Out at Fox News Reporter
Embattled CBS anchorman Dan Rather lashed out on Saturday after he was challenged by a Fox News Channel reporter who asked him if he felt "duped" after airing forged documents about President Bush's military record.
Arriving at the Dallas, Texas, airport to further investigate the story that threatens to end his career, the CBS News anchor tried to keep his cool as he was spotted by other reporters, maintaining gamely, "It's good to be back in Dallas."

But according to the Web site Ratherbiased.com, when a reporter from the local Fox affiliate asked, "Do you feel like you've been duped?" the irritated anchor shot back: "Do you feel like you were duped working for Fox like you do?"
It's not a question of volume but one of tone and context; it was an obvious and somewhat low blow by an increasingly desperate man who clearly prefers to be on the other side of "gotcha" journalism ;)
Rather is delusional. First he overestimates his cultural relevance, figuring he'll be impervious to any consequences in regards to his his "shoot first, consider the target later" stance. Now the poor bloke thinks he's actually delivered a zinging diatribe.
So he DID pay full retail for the documents! I knew it!
The sad part is, he probably really believes that folks working for Fox are dupes. It's the old dupe/half-wit comedy.
I've a funny feeling that history will be made some time tomorrow and that Danny better have his resume updated. Just a feeling.
I wish the reporter had retorted, "Do you feel that any current CBS reporters were duped into thinking they were NOT part of a transparently biased so-called news organization?"
Rather was actually rather gracious to the reporter, who either hit his head on or just walked into an electronic door, by accident, while trying to talk to Rather.
Rather knew he was on camera, so one is free to take the comments he made to the reporter for what they are. He asked a number of times if the reporter was okay. After the whole exchange, Rather reached out his hand to shake the reporter's hand.
Look, Rather is a jackass. The presentation and handling of the anti-Bush story with the fake documents proves that, but giving a skewed report about an incident at the airport is no way to remain above the fray. NewsMax should know better.
If you were facing the reality that everyone was suddenly aware you and your career have been a complete joke you'd probably lose your cool, too. He's history and he knows it. Even if CBS keeps him on board he will have zero credibility.
Good night.
Blather was trying to be condescending- he acted as though he was above being followed and having someone ask him a question like anyone else the media hounds. The mention of where the reporter works as though it diminished the credibility of his queries was intended to please his biased audience. I am sure the liberal lefties cheered for him. What a stooge

Poor, old, Rather doesn't realize that in his twilight years, he is being exploited by the DNC. Maybe he was a journalist earlier in his career. Today he is just a worthless stooge and an embarassment to the profession.
That is the best part about it...He was trying to zing the reporter...and sound funny.
Instead...he came off looking like a nervous tool.
I saw news clip today (Sunday) showing Blather leaving airport to get in car in Dallas. He was smiling, and smirking and just seemed to be reveling in all the ATTENTION HE WAS GETTING.. Sorta reminded me of those boys in Junior High School that were sent to the Principles office for discipline, for shooting spitballs, or whatever. Far from being upset about it, most were loving it. Loving all the attention they were getting. Thus, it's my opinion that Dan Blather is having a good ole time, loving all the attention he is getting!!
