Did anyone watch Mad TV tonight? They did a spoof on the "Amazing Race", with Kerry/Edwards and Bush/Cheney (and one of the duos from the show).
It was hilarious!! Usually when I see political characters, it's been on SNL, which I don't watch anymore because they're so hateful. You'd think FOX would be the same way, but they really bagged on Kerry/Edwards. I was ROFL!!
I just got home so I didn't see this particular segment. I love MadTV. It is so funny. Actually funnier than the old SNL.
When does it replay?

Well the first thing Kerry said was "I'mmmm a warrrr herrro".
It made Edwards look like a little kid, he skipped around and he kept giving a thumbs up.
Then they had to keep making certain decisions, Kerry kept changing his mind.
Connie Chung was the 'host' and Kerry asked her "Didn't I rape you in Vietnam"
...ooooh what a low blow!!
Then they had to do some type of "challenge" and eat like 4 lbs of caviar....Edwards did it. Kerry kept saying to him "Eat it, Eat it like the Democrats will in November"

Sorry I missed it tonight. Last week they had a really good skit on that made Kerry/Edwards look really bad too!!! Gotta love it!!!

saw it. The usual bush stuff, but it seemed to go after kerry / edwards more. Kerry couldn't make up his mind on anything. Then when he meets up with they guy playing connie chung, he asks "didn't I rape you in vietnam????" Edwards was running around like a schoolboy always giving the thumbs up.

The best was Cheney, his line was I rule the world so f..k you.
The guy who did Bush was portraying him as incoherent and irrelevent.
The bit was funny and it gave the viewer a laugh regardless of their own partisan position.
Anyone remember the Bush/Gore skit from 2000? Bush is in a 'BET' kind of scenario, on a gab show hosted by two women who are the black equivelant of white trash. Basically he came off looking clueless as re: urban life.
Meanwhile, Al Gore makes a personal appearance in Mo Collins' dressing room, and begins to take away various environmentally unsound items. Eventually confiscating her SUV, and having her make a 20 mile commute on a bike, and taking her kid to soccer, etc., on a bike.
Gore took the biggest hit in that skit, I'd say.
