What did folks think of this debate? I thought Daschle and Russert cornered Thune on the gas tax. Otherwise, I'd say Thune came across better.

Thune is a fine looking man. Daschle is a vile, weird SOB. And Russert ran an unfair debate. He didn't take Daschle to task for anything. Russert is a partisan hack.

I know if I was in South Dakota, I'd be voting for Thune. I just am not down with Daschle, but they have voted for him before. I guess if you like Daschle, you think he won. If you hate Daschle, he came off like a raging a-hole.
