My favorites vary with subject matter...

For the best, inside-baseball politics, nobody is better than Hugh Hewitt.

The best for conservative, social commentary, is someone I haven't seen mentioned, Dennis Prager.. He is the personification of compassionate conservatism.

The best debater (with the possible exception of Levin, but we don't hear him much in Colorado) is KOA's Mike Rosen. He's not a social conservative but for pure debate, no one is better.

The best host for historical perspective and all-around versatility is Medved.

The best host for entertainment and production value is still Limbaugh. Annoying quirks aside, the man has great theatrical instincts.

Now the nitpicking... Hannity is good natured but mostly annoying... He lacks any original insight and seems to parrot what he's heard or read somewhere else.

Laura Ingraham goes off on too many populist rants. Her constant harping about the "elites" gets tiresome. She is a dogged debater, though.

Savage is mostly a blustery buffoon trading off on his angry-man meme. He lacks Limbaugh's self-depracting sense of humor.

I listen to him sometimes. But what I object to is his ever changing opinions. One day he is for Bush and the war, the next day, or sometimes just in the second hour he bashes him and the war. He seems inconsistent to me. Funny as heck though.
