...these half million miles have involved enemy contact.
Bump!
We do function checks on the weapons. We make sure we have ammo and a re-supply of food, water - plenty of water.
A key lesson of Mogadishu, Somalia, October 3, 1993. My bet is none of these guys goes without his body armor, his NVG, and a double or triple ammo load.
Steel Dragons ~ Bump!
Thats cool.
My Unit over there logged 600,000 miles from feb. 5 2003(before war) to Mar 28(day before I got injured) we also delivered over 10 million gallons of fuel in that period.
What a memorable patch. I shall never forget the honor of serving with the troops in the 1CAV (RVN, 67 - 68). GO FIRST TEAM!!
