Phil Parlock did NOT stage this story! The union admits it's true! Spread the word!

Very refreshing.
No weasel words.
Can't undo the damage but it goes high on the integrity meter.

Nice to see someone willing to take a stand. Rather could take a lesson in manhood from this Union president.

I am impressed that he responded. What a breath of fresh air compared to Dan the Man . I did jot a note thanking & commending him. I personally don't want to see the man fired. I think he should publicly (and face to face) apologize to the family & his union which he did NOT represent very well. There is possibly some internal disciplinary works?
My guess is that he isn't even 20. Sometimes I am too much a softies, I guess.. but I think a meeting of that young man & the family would be worthwhile. On
Glenn Beck, the father mentioned he was a Christian etc.. Maybe a convert is in the works - politically & spiritually.

Oh, I guess that settles it then. .....NOT!
"We here in the Reichschancellory have received reports of cruelty in some of our corrective labour detention facilities, most notably in Oscweicim, Poland. We are sending a team to investigate these serious allegations, and ask the general public to please rest assured if there is any wrongdoing in those social rehabilitation centers, matters will be discussed on-site and the situation will be resolved. That is all. Heil Hitler."

OOPs, once again I misread. I thought momentarily that Parlock was the name of the union thug. Sorry.

I have personally taken steps to address this issue internally, and will take immediate disciplinary action to the full extent allowed under U.S. Department of Labor regulations and the constitution of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. He got promoted.

Big, fat, hairy whoop. Will the mass media bother carrying the truth about the co-called-labor vote? Will the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades take out full page ads in the papers or 30 second time slots on TV?
This disclaimor for such DASTARDLY behavior is no skin off the union's collective backside, because the media is keeping both the assault of little kids and the "apology" quiet. It's a pair of highly important non-events. The media must get Kerry elected. The end justifies the means as far as they're concerned, and the end is Kerry/Edwards.
