Wow! Good job in Post #216 MistyCA!
It sounds like he might have had a fight or something 2 years prior to enlistment and the ANG chose to overlook it when accepting him into service!
From 1966 he was arrested for disorderly conduct for a college prank but the charges were dropped. It had to be cleared before he was accepted into the Guard. No biggy. He also had a couple speeding tickets.
Thanks.
Do you have an email for him that actually works?
I've emailed this out to everyone I know.
Thank you! I would like to link all of the actual files to this, but by the time I finished I was too pooped! I didn't even check for typos.
What is clear is that the screaming about President Bush not showing up on the East Coast for his reserve duty is pure BS! He was NOT required to do so and was attached to Denver, Co in an inactive capacity.
thanks for the reference ping, MistyCA
See it but can't explain it. Looks like it occurred in 1966 and before he went into the service. Except the call of Disorderly Conduct doesn't jive unless Colleges have that call.
I'm trying to figure out what Dan expects to accomplish except it's a distraction to keep Dorky Kerry behind the door since Kerry's numbers go down whenever he makes an appearance and shows them pearly, beaver teeth.
Yes, you are right. 1966 there was an arrest for a college prank of some sort. The charge was disorderly conduct but the charges were dropped. When he applied to be in the Guard, he had to answer the question about whether or not he had been arrested. There was a letter of verification about the incident which cleared him for the Guard. President Bush released this as a part of his file.
Thanks for the clarification.
Bump for later, a lot there to read.
I could use some help getting this list out to all the news media, or a list of email addresses. (re post 216). I have all the documents and will be working on a chronology to put it all in perspective. President Bush is right. He did what he had to do to earn an honorable discharge.
Thanks!
Thank you Tonk! I knew you would have that handy. :)
