Left Will Try to Impeach Bush on Abu Ghraib September 16, 2004

Listen to Rush… (…predict what the left will do if Bush wins re-election) BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

I want you to keep an eye on this, folks. I have been warning you. Many people have been asking me, "What's the left going to do when they lose the election?" And I know many of you think, well, they're going to realize they've been screwing up and change their ways and we'll have less partisanship and blah, blah. (Laughing). My friends,

Well, the Liberal Establishment Elitists may attempt this (I see "Impeach Bush" stickers on cars a lot in Seattle, but they mostly pre-date Abu Ghraib) but The Base - the whackjob freaks out there - are gonna be violently angry, and it may be messy...

Am I the only one who seems to think that we're on the brink of a civil war, or at least some very serious civil unrest, within the next decade or so.

So long as we hold the Senate (likely) and the House (very likely) it is doubtful they'll make progress from these avenues unless they could blackmail enough Republicans to fold.

Look to the Judiciary for trouble.

Prayer

and lots of "putting our legs to our prayers"

is ESSENTIAL the rest of Bush's 8 year term.

I'm even more concerned that the puppet masters will try something more sinister

. . . Fosterization.

And,

SKERRY IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD, part of me is still wary that Bush is being deliberately set up as the fall guy

for some list of horrors the puppet masters have planned a year or two into Bush's new term . . . as a way to force the global government on the USA and the world sooner than later.

It doesn't matter. The Democrats will try to make sure that Bush is rendered powerless trying to run the country and fight their ridiculous charges.

I thought of that this morning when I read that Kofi is out saying that the U.S. engaged in an illegal war with Iraq. Kofi is just setting the ground work for the dems.

My prediction when Bush wins: days of rioting at home and abroad, followed by calls from major world leaders for Bush to step down to stop the violence.

Will never happen! Most Americans know that the enemy we are fighting today believe in terror and torture. That is all they do! So, giving some back to them to get them to talk might not be a bad idea! Especially when their talking gives us information to help keep American troops safer! I believe most Americans feel this way too. I believe the Democratic Party is dying and that will certainly help our Country!

"If Nixon was alive, you could ask him how the media got even last time this happened. If Bush wins again, especially if it's a clear, no doubt about it win, look for the media to do everything in their power to bring him down like they did Nixon."

The question is would they have gotten away with it on Nixon if he had Karl Rove advising and FR watching the media? I think not.

Good thing we have the House and they don't.

Don't get too cocky. November is fast approaching.

"Kerry-Edwards supporters "

They all look like either high schoolers, college kids, or the unemployed. Typical democratic supporters. The only thing missing is some disenfranchised minorities and starving (though well dressed) senior citizens.

After Bush is reelected, slogans concerning the "illegal" war in Iraq, Abu Ghraib, and Guantanamo Bay detentions will galvanize international and domestic college campus protests. These will be long and loud and divisive. There will be movements to impeach the President and the mainstream media will magnify them way out of proportion.

I love Rush, but his analysis is only accurate as it pertains to what Democrats, in their pathological hatred of the man, would do if they could, not what will actually happen in the real world. If Bush wins, Bush WINS. The Democrats will continue to hate him, they will try to filibuster all of his judges, they will accuse him of stealing the election (if it is close), and they will continue to spew the most vile, outrageous attacks they can come up with. But they won't be able to lay a hand on him.

The Republicans, on the other hand, will probably throw a bit more weight around. I think the "nuclear" option in the Senate--removing the filibuster option pertaining to judicial nominees--is very likely to be explored, if not adopted. One way or another, Bush will get his judges. I think a major overhaul of the income tax system will be seriously discussed, and the Democrats will expend all their energy to prevent most of it from being enacted. But Bush will get his way and much of it will be, just as he planned all along. They won't have time to think about ridiculous fantasies like impeachment, they will be too busy saying "NO!" and fighting to keep their beloved leviathon from being tinkered with, if not transformed. In short, I think if Bush wins, Bush WINS.

"They sounded like a third world country."

The wish of democratic politicians everywhere. They want the masses unwashed, as long as they vote (dead or alive) democratic. Look at Heinz's statements about those storm victims in Florida.

Okay, we'll do this the Republican way. You hold him for 2.5 minutes and I'll thump him. Then we'll switch and I'll hold him down and you thump him. Deal?
