Rather wants to have it both ways, according to this guy. They're going to have to embrace it, he says, with a "blue panel" and who the perps are and talk about what this means in terms of where network news has gone. Brit: do you have to stick to the story?

He's suggesting that instead of disowning the story, CBS should straddle the story.

Some elements may be true and some not.

If you read Kerry's Senate testimony under oath, he admitted that he met with the Vietnamese communists. He then proceeded to advocate acceptance of their negotiating points.
