Whether the CBS Memos are forgeries is a major story. However, this is a watershed story which is much bigger than just this one subject. (Filed a couple days early.)
The culture of America and ultimately the culture of the world will change as a result of these events. But then, y'all knew that already.
A copy of this went to the top 50 Class B stockholders of CBS/Viacom. I'll report back if any of them have the brains to respond.

A copy of this went to the top 50 Class B stockholders of CBS/Viacom. I'll report back if any of them have the brains to respond. FReepers have been hammering affiliates of SeeBS around the country. Naturally, responses vary from affiliate to affiliate. We Georgia FReepers have been making a few calls, and Atlanta's SeeBS affiliate (CBS 46) 'stands firmly behind Mr. Rather's reporting'. The Atlanta Chapter of ProtestWarrior is set to do a little bit of persuasion sometime soon, I believe.
I look forward to seeing the responses you get from those shareholders -- please ping me upon further developments.

Glad you brought this back. It's mighty powerful stuff.
Anyone see a correction and apology from the AP? They corrected the lie about the boos in West Allis, Wisconsin pretty quickly, but not before the lying story had already grown legs. IMO, the edit didn't cut it. They should have also sent out a "we screwed up" article to be given equal prominence as the lie was given.

Hey Billybob! I thought this was only going on your web site, but thanks again, my friend. I still cant believe the response to that angry rant, but I am flattered by it all the same.

I found P. Dog's manifeso to be right on. Last night on Fox the Hannity and Colm program proved equally correct. Sean Hannity dominated the program with his guests, which included Carl Bernstein (Watergate fame), Michael Reagan, Pat Caddell (Los Angeles demoncRAT strategist). On Bernstein Hannity forced him in a corner a couple of times in a roundabout way to admit that CBS did wrong. What interested me most was Pat Caddell's viewpoints that at times mirrored some of P'dog's comments.

Great post! (I admit I was hesitant about clicking on it -- I was thinking, "Is this anything like an opus?")
The theme is the same of the lead editorial in today's WSJ (the first editorial notice WSJ has taken of Rathergate), if rather more forceful.

Most of America is laying down skid marks getting away from the MSM. Even my 81 year old mom. I get the net news to her regularly. You'd think the idiots at the alphabet news would smell and hear the burning tires!
