Here's a photo of David Van Os, the spokesman for Bill Burkett of Memogate fame, addressing a major John Kerry for President rally in Austin last month.
This is the same rally that was headlined by HOWARD DEAN and made pretty big media coverage around the state at the time.

How does somebody like Burkett afford an attorney like that? Hmmmm. He can't.
I thought the same thing. Perhaps the DNC is funding Van Os to the tune of $500 an hour from its slush fund.
Or maybe he is doing a little Taylor County (Abilene) pro-bono work for the local Democratic Party.

I think Burkett did the memos, but I think he did them for Michael Moore's movie. CBS heard about them and asked for them. The rest is his story.

Can't agree more.
Anyone who doesn't believe Rather is dumb or devious enough to use Bill Burkett as an "unimpeachable source" needs to read this story.

I think his only criteria is:
1. Does it further the cause.
2. Will the ignorant peasants suck it up.
