WASH POST: Documents allegedly written by deceased officer that raised questions about Bush's service with Texas National Guard bore markings showing they had been faxed to CBS News from a Kinko's copy shop in Abilene, Texas... Developing...
interesting
You ar correct except the chain of evidence now extends to someone faxing these from Abilene, TX.
Presumably this was just faxing -- not so stupid as to compose on a Kinkos PC, but who knows? Burkett is right next door, so it seems the 'unimpeachable' CBS source may well be this nut case. Could be a big deal.
Welcome to Free Republic! You are seriously addicted, I am proud of you! LOL
I'll bet the faxes would show faxes to DNC and CBS at the same time.
don't forget faxes to USA Today the day after the broadcast...
No, it was my wrong, Baird is the town. I'm brain fried tonight. Burkett?
YeeHaa.
Welcome to FreeRepublic!
"The Prowler" says the DNC and Kerry campaign had the forgeries 6 weeks ago. CBS had them 4-5 weeks after that. DNC could have tipped off CBS as to where to look, who to see.
Rumor has it that the Kitty Kelly book has these documents in it. If so, Rather is really going to be sucking wind. Pity the man who wins the honor of beating Kitty Kelly for a scoop!
thanx pal..Worse yet I've turned 2 friends on to this site and both of them are going to work like zombies ever since. No sleep but plenty of real information and new under their belts ( and pajamas too)..I love this place....Big Dan ..Going Downnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ?
bump
seems the net is alive again!
Federal law requires that the valid fax number of the originating fax machine be displayed on any outgoing fax.
They are closing in on who the forger is.
Barnes and Rather's daughters are very big maybes. I don't know about DNC.
One thing IS certain though - Bill Burkett is closely tied to the Democratic Party of Texas. His lawyer, who was giving public comments for him to the NYT yesterday, is in the upper tier of the Democratic Party of Texas' leadership and is their current nominee for the Texas Supreme Court.
