CBS finds somebody to back them up!
Bernstein is spinning the hell out of it on H & C
Berstein just called Bush a shirker......I need meds, now!
Dang, PJ, where was the barf alert? I have to wash my eyes after reading that.
Wonder how long her memory is? Maybe what Ms. Knox says doesn't add up because so many lies have been added to the fake story. The real story probably is that President Bush treated her well & always remembered her name, maybe even opened the door for her a few times.
It's bad policy to lie 'cause you can't remember all of them to get a story straight. (that's another madison10 paraphrase, BTW)
The film began 30 minutes before the hour, and at a couple minutes after the hour there was a message saying that 60 Minutes would be shown in its entirety at 2:07 tomorrow morning. Anyone have a clue about this?
2 in the morning????
Yes, indeed, Mo1! 2:07 AM!
Yup, and let no man put asunder.
Someone help me - other than some forged documents, is there any evidence CBS can produce to support this woman's claims?
Bernstein built his entire career around one lucky break. He showed his colors on HC, and no longer deserves any credibility as an authority on journalistic integrity.
You know him well, LOL. Getting a tad frustrating to watch.
Bernstein just sid it again...Hannity does not call him on it.....Bernstein is a pompous ass still reliving Watergate
I don't think it's necessary to attack her at all. So far, Dan's best defense of his story is this lady's testimony... This lady who contradicts her previous testimony... Most all of his other evidence (maybe all) has been exposed as outright fraud. (The memo's themselves, Barnes claiming actions as LtGov before he was LtGov, his "experts"...) Now, he presents this lady as justification that despite having humiliated himself as an outright fraud lacking any claim to journalistic integrity, his "STORY" was true.
Dan says it doesn't matter if the memo's are fake or not, the story is valid.
He has it backwards... At this point, it doesn't matter if Killian comes back from the dead and says the forged documents are what he would have said if he had written them... DAN RATHER has exposed himself and CBS as having intentionally presented outright lies (ie. laser printers unable to produce the lower case "L" in the memo) in defense of their having used forged documents presented to defame the sitting President of the United States in order to affect the outcome of the Presidential Election.
The Oct 2000 George Magazine interviewed Staudt. He very firmly denied any influence at that time.
Unlike forged memo's, once somebody says something, they don't need to be interviewed again.
So, use the George Magazine reference. --- By the way, if you do use the George Magazine story, be sure you point out that it conflicts with the dnc's 27 April press release, which claims Staudt, not Barnes, was the influence peddler.
No, all CBS has is Miss Knox.

Did you see Carl Berstein on Hannity? Even Colmes was asking him fairly good questions. He claimed only the questions in the memo needed to be answered. Maybe now people will question his reporting. It gets worse and worse. I just hope it sticks.
It's unbelievable. CBS in in the middle of the biggest media scandal of the last decade, and all of its own making, and after a week of taking the heat, they trot out their "KILLER, SMOKING GUN" evidence in defense....
and it turns out to be an 86-year-old silver-haired fart with a grudge against rich people.
Wow....
Yep, 'The Medium is the Message'.
This woman is being put out there to take the attention away from the documents.CBS thinks she is their proof and therefore the documents will slide into the background.People need to demand to know who forged those documents and not let up on it!
By that standard, anyone can make any claim about anything...this is what passes as objective journalism?? Wow.
Oh, he hates Bush.
