Gary Killian said it all -- he believes CBS is in way over their head. Knox said she claims she didn't type these documents but similar documents and Killian asking well, where are they?

Do you realize that we have More sources on one thread, than Dan Rather ever had?
To: Sacajaweau
They served in the Guard at the same time:

Same unit, I don't know. It would be important to find out.
To: SunnySide
Killian's son is on Hannity now. He says that Knox was not his father's personal secretary, and also wants to now where these other memos are that she supposedly typed.
Prediction: new, better forgeries will appear, done on old typewriters. However, since these people are dumb as dirt, they will copound their error and be caught again.
To: Howlin
The son is on H&Cc saying this woman was NOT his father's secretary, that she was a "pool" secretary assigned to a lot of people. UNBELIEVABLE ... GAWD CBS is ticking me off!

I did not watch the CBS 60 minutes II show. I haven't watched CBS in a very long time.
But, let's see what has happened today. CBS offered to make a statement, then put the statement off, then decided to run the 60 minutes II, Dan Rather interview of a little old lady.
They wanted to build up much hype as they could by putting off the statement for as long as they could, so they could try to turn a complete loss into some kind of gain by possibly making a ratings coup.
They wanted to earn the respect of the other MSM news agencies by sticking with a lie they all want to believe, and by changing the angle to being the bad old internet users against a little old lady. Since bloggers surely would not dare go after her.
Then by showing how shrewd they are in winning the night's ratings, the rest of the MSM will bow down to their clever way of fooling the internet upstarts and will worship CBS again. They say, 'Who cares what they say about us, as long as they spell the name right.' In other words, good or bad publicity is still publicity.
Instead of getting angry, instead of falling for their diversions, remind the world that Dan Rather uses old ladies to fight his battles for him. Remind him and CBS that truth will out and that cowards hide behind granny's skirts.
CBS cannot be trusted. CBS has offered up a character assassination with no evidence. With there only defense being an elderly woman whose age makes her changing story understandable. The shameless use of this poor old woman in their defense is beyond all possible sense of reason.
CBS has forgotten they depend on their reputation. (They just remind everyone they had a reputation.) The best way to combat this shameless evasion of their obvious error, the best way to show them that there is a reason for a "news" broadcast to have a reputation is to stop watching CBS and do the following:
Do not attack the poor old woman who is obviously a victim of CBS's arrogance.
Flood their advertisers, not just the nightly news advertisers, but any advertiser on CBS with mail.
Contact the FCC remind them of the broadcast network's duty to serve the public, not fleece the public.
Let CBS know that this type of unsubstantiated character assassination by a broadcast network will not be tolerated in a nation of people who love truth.
Demand the original documents and demand to know who they received them from.
Demand to known what it is about their source that makes it so impossible for them to divulge the truth.
This is a sad day for this country. When our media feels it can broadcast any thing with impunity. When journalists no longer believe that integrity should go hand and hand with the search for news.
I am disgusted, but I am not surprised. I'll be manning the phones and going door to door in the precincts with a lot more enthusiasm than I have ever imagined I'd have. I am a soldier in the war for truth.

Howlin's a LADY... She certainly is. However, she and I are both from the generation that didn't find it insulting to be called "girls". My husband and his brother when referring to me and my sister-in-law will say, "you girls" - and at we don't mind a bit.
If I've offended her by calling her a girl, I sincerely apologize.

Not sure if someone else mentioned this, but she said Bush always called her the wrong name cause he couldn't remember her name. I have heard and read in many places that one talent W has is he can remember everyone's name that he meets. What gives? Yet she told Drudge yesterday about how nice W was to her. It doesn't add up.

Oh, look:
On Tuesday, a CBS spokeswoman raised questions about Knox's credentials.
"As far as we can tell, this individual is not a documents expert," said CBS' Sandy Genelius. "We believe the documents, which were one part of the `60 Minutes' story, to be genuine. It is notable that she confirms the content of the documents, which was the primary focus of our story in the first place."

At 86, she's not too far from meeting her maker. Trashing the President, and in my opinion, LYING...tells me she's taking the elevator down, not up. Flame away. I don't care.

Is she still around!
I see she is still supporting losers!
She thought she was so popular in Texas that she could stop the right to carry law.
She started the momentum that led Texas from being a Democrat state to it being a Republican one!
Way to go!

Carl Bernstein: What should be covered is the "WAR ISSUE" of these two candidates.
Bernstein thinks we've forgotten his story on "Watergate" apparently.
Watergate was about a break-in. And Carl doesn't find the CBS docs story important.

Last Flight Out?
Got notice several weeks ago that the Graham film would be airing during this week. Check local listings.

"I am sure Knox is a very nice 86-year-old woman. But her story seems, at this point, to be unreliable. In 20 years, could you you really say, "I am sure Rather is a very nice 86-year-old man "?
