Howlin set a great example last sept 8th when he started a live thread for the 60 minutes II story.
Let's see how much squirmin we here ....
This is going to backfire on CBS big time. If she goes on the air and makes allegations as to what Killian thought, she will have to appear on other competing news programs, or she will have no credibility. Any decent interviewer should have no trouble deconstructing her story and bringing out contradictions and inconsistencies in her story.
By this time next week - her lies will be the story and the Kerry campaign will still be in the background.
Hume leads his broadcast with this story.
Actually, hints that MSM types would gun for one or more bloggers started last Thursday. NPR wrapped up thursdays update with the statement "questions are being raised about the how the blogger raised questions so soon after the broadcast".
(I monitor NPR sometimes strictly for enemy intel purposes)
You know that monitoring NPR can make you take a likein' to Kool-Aid?
Hard to tell. Which one is he today?
Give credit to Registered for the pic (though I will take some minor credit for suggesting the glass of whiskey and the two bullets).
Well, at least FOX is on time!
Yes, we are supposed to believe this admitted Bush-hater, but any pro-Bush witnesses are to be dismissed. They are flying this lady in to hide behind her skirts, to make it seem like attacking CBS is attacking an 86 year-old woman.
Who's website are you talking about?
They instantaneously tanked the price by a third of a percent.
It was from Andrew Heyward, and he basically said CBS stands by the documents, but, because there are so many questions, CBS will redouble its efforts to answer the questions.
"Hey, I'm no conservative. But didn't the definition of the "truth" use to mean that one isn't lying."
How about undue stress on the Killian family? This can't make them happy.
Emily Will, forensic document examiner, who warned CBS against going with the story, "wasn't adamant enough in her warnings." THIS is their defense????
You got it! Mrs PD
Since it takes almost an entire day of pre-flight briefing, flying 1-2 hours, post-flight briefing, then Bush spent much more time at his job than Kerry did on his little boat.
Is JFK looking for an overboard hampster to resuscitate in that photo?
They didn't have post-its back then.
Maybe the guy who wrote the memos.
