Hmmmm... I guess you're right...
I can just barely make out the Ft. mark ('),
Thought the scale was in inches.
My bifocals really ARE giving me problems.

At first I thought that the poster was talking about Hagfish and I wondered what Helen (The Hag) Thomas had to do with it all....

Rather has finally, completely, lost it. These people are so frustratingly arrogant I just want to scream. Dare I say.....'Courage?'

Hey Dan: As the good old Beach Boys song goes, "Bye Bye Baby, Baby Goodbye, Bye Bye Baby."
There's life after retirement. You'll make big bucks on the leftie lib speakers circuit.

Mr. Rather, you have lost the credibility to demand answers from ANYONE.

Anyone see a the resemblance with Private Pyle from Full Metal Jacket? One of Pyle's quotes that Rather can relate to - "I am in a world of sh*t"

"Weve heard what you have to say about the documents and what youve said and what your surrogates have said, but for the moment, answer the questions." Evidently Dan thinks he's POTUS and Bush works for him.

Dan Rather has totally lost it. He's demanding the President of the United States answer to forged documents? This has gone beyond embarrassing and on to harrassment. Really. Rather is as obsessed with this as Hinckley was with Jodie Foster.
Dan's got himself in a trap and watching him chew off his leg was a gross spectacle at best and now it's becoming scary. I hope it can be ascribed to dementia. At 72 he overstayed his welcome by a good 20 years.
Hard to believe this dumb-as-a-brick doofus was considered a "respected" journalist.

With equal respect, Dan: Let's suppose that instead of you spreading extremely bad forgeries about Dubya, it was a right-wing news outlet spreading extremely bad forgeries about John Kerry. Mike Wallace interviews the guy in charge for "60 Minutes". He says to Wallace, well, I hear you, people question whether or not these documents are genuine, but in the end it doesn't really matter because in any case they raise very important questions that Kerry needs to answer. How much respect do you think Wallace would give to that line of argument? How much would you give it?
