FYI: At this point, no one has determined those documents to be forgeries -- innocent until proven guilty, you know.

Given the current logic -- some of you would probably say the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE is a forged document.

If the situation was the other way around involving, say, Fox News and forged documents about a Democrat, you can be sure that Hillary would be demanding a Congressional investigation and CBS would be sounding the trumpet all over the place.

That might be good. Quite frankly, I am not anxious to see the dems spin this in Congress. I would rather see an investigation by law enforcement.

Rather didn't care if the news was genuine because he knew what we should hear. We're dolts and the big city libs know better! Shut up and hand over your stuff for the common good.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. Does she know Bill Burkett, the man who is now being accused of the forgeries?

I am not aware of a 'proven' connection (citeable source), however:

1) Robin Rather is a well-known activist in Austin, including having had her dad Dan speak at a fund-raiser for Ben Barnes (head of the Jean-Fraude campaign in Texas, and former Lt. Gov. of Texas);

2) Burkett is a well-known Bush-hating activist in Texas, former TANG;

3) Hard to imagine they don't all know OF each other.

Robin, having been a writer for an IT publication, clearly had the MS Word skills needed to produce the document (probably with some Subject Matter Expertise from Burkett).

Furthermore, it makes sense that Robin would send a draft copy to Burkett for technical review, and when it was OK he then sent it to Dan. Robin had told Dan it was coming, and would pass scrutiny.

Hard to imagine that Dan would watch his reputation and career head south if it were not to protect something "more important to him."

It's all been quite a mystery to me, but thanks to FR, it's on its way to being solved. Hooray for us!

Rather is going down very nicely as it is.

Don't count on that...danny has been in rougher spots in the past...once it blows over....he's back!!! We need to get rid of him once and for all!!!
