“There is nobody in charge and you have these two teams that are generally not talking to each other,” says Coehlo

“What is it that we [Democrats] are?

I could answer that, but I'd get banned for "excessive foul language."

Not only does Kerry nag, but all his commercials are such DOWNERS. Do you know which campaign I'm talking about? They have one person against a white background complaining about something Bush did. One was complaining Bush spent billions in Iraq but she couldn't afford health insurance. It's just mind boggling how anyone could view these commercials and think it'll make someone want to vote for their cona

“What I’m looking for is a Karl Rove and I don’t know where our Karl Rove is.” -- Tony Coelho

Hey, Tony:

Your problem, moron, is that you don't have a George W. Bush.

Because the Donks are a shell game.

Not a candidate: a FACE
Not a message:an agenda that never changes over 7 decades
Not a campaign:a gig
Not grassroots: paid staff

Consultants get the 15% ad company cut for placement. Republican consultants only get paid for actual creative work and if you are anything less, in a Republican campaign, if you can get VIP rally tickets, you are making out like a bandit.

And we all really feel that way because we love our candidate.

"When a lying POS like Coehlo shoves the knife in your back - you know you're in trouble."

Exactly. They're trying to hang the albatross on Shrummy now (and once and for all).

Note how money got brought into discussion -- what was it, 5 million in the WaPo story? Didn't slice it thin enough among the multitude of underemployed Stupid Party ops shops, did they?

COOL

They are saying this stuff soon enough to watch the car go off the cliff but too late to actually do anything and swerving away.

The campaign needed to have its whole plan, strategy and agenda lined up in MARCH. Kerry needs to be on autopilot by now with his message .... duh, they have no message.
The real problem is not Shrum, its Kerry.

“Our problem here is a national message,” Coelho says. “What is it that we [Democrats] are? If you go to Kerry, that’s a disaster because the candidate should not be involved in solving disputes or the creation of his message.

“You need a [campaign] boss, somebody who says ‘Shut up, we are going to work this out.’

This sums the Democrat/Socialists completely! Just shut up and be as party tool! We will run everthing from the dark background.

“Here are two groups that have never gotten along and have fought, and it is a lot over money,” says Coehlo. "Because in the Democratic Party the consultants get paid for the creation and the placement of [advertising]. Republicans only pay you for the creation.”

So what Dems are saying is... give me all your ideas and I'll decide if we'll pay you for your hard work

The worst kind.

Anyone believe the Clintons are working behind the scenes to torpedo Kerry's campaign? We all know Hillary cannot run in 2008 if Kerry wins in 2004.

This is particularly true for those lame commercials of "Republicans" who will vote for Kerry this year because Bush is so bad. Boy, that female stockbroker looks like someone shot her dog. "If I lose all my clients, oh well." Heck, the dims can't get excited at the prospect of voting for Kerry, it is a bit much to expect excitment from Republicans (rinos).

With Democrats, it's ALWAYS about the money.
