Why do you bother with O'Reilly? His knee jerk unthinking, unwavering defense of CBS and Rather show that despite all his populist retoric he is just another media elitiest pretending to be something he is not. Funny how OReilly is all upset with the "Right Wing" is out to get Dan Rather. "I know Dan Rather and he would never do anything like this". Oh? So we should just ignore all the EVIDENCE of a delibeate dirty trick stage managed by the DNC to kick off the "Favorite Son" ad campaign against George Bush and just take O'Reillys WORD that Rather is a pure as the driven snow? Seems to me Oreilly is doing EXACTLY what he accuses the "Right Wing" of doing. Leaping to make an emotional knee jerk defense with out ANY consideration of the facts. No, I have no PROOF that the DNC and CBS News are in collusions, but as Dan Rather said, "It is the TRUST of the story" not the accuracy of the facts or the crediblity of the sources that is more important. And to quote Dan again, "Isn't intresting that" CBS News, Dan Rather and the DNC, "have never denied the allegations"?
