Even within the faithful over 50% admit that they are voting against Bush and well less than 40% are voting for Kerry, while 84% of Republicans are voting FOR Bush and about 11% are voting against Kerry.
I think what was most interesting about this interview was that for months he's been telling Bush to "soften" his talk so that his security issues would play to women. Well, apparently he has. I heard Fox earlier today, and Bush is now up by 6% among women, largely among the "security moms." Yet Morris didn't even mention this.
I still remember pictures of him with that hooker, then when he came out to all the media afterwards with his arm hanging around his (very sad looking - stunned) wife saying "all was well." wow - what a guy......
I'm glad that Morris seems to have come over from the dark side, but he is very nearly always wrong. Take it with a grain of salt.
Well, let me throw this out. There is an article on FR that says (forget which one) that Bush has focused his spending on four states. I can't remember the four, but MICHIGAN and MINNESOTA were two and I DON'T THINK WISCONSIN was in the group. Now, that tells me they have polling data that shows that the Wisconsin numbers are real, and solid!!!!!!
Have been all around the state of MO for the past 90 days. STL, KC, Springfield, Cape, Rolla, Joplin, Kirksville and more pop 3,000 towns than I can count. Unless I've been struck blind, MO is wired solid for Mr. Bush, a considerably higher vote total than in 2000. Which augurs well for Blunt to become governor, which is too bad in one respect, because it means I'll be stuck on the road all year next year (grrrrr...).
Ahhh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers, uhhh, was it Al Capp?
Bumper stickers don't mean much, I suppose, but here in CT what was a virtual unchallenged sea of Kerry Edwards bumper stickers is now approaching parity. CT will still probably go K-E but it's 7 weeks to go and strange things happen
The toupe is the least of his problems. Every time I see him on TV, he seems to get fatter and fatter. I'm afraid that some day he's just going to explode on camera and spew fat everywhere!
I just drove to New Hampshire and back (to Maryland) and kept a running tally of bumper stickers along the way. Bush-Cheney was +3 on the northbound trip and +4 on the southbound trip.
Babe, Gore took PA because of the usual machine voter turnout in Philadelphia, plus winning by large margins in the RINO Republican burbs...the prosperity issue helped him win the affluent burbs...but Kerry has no such advantage...things havent been too bad under Bush, Kerry offers nothing exciting, so the suburban vote will trend back towards the GOP and Bush will win PA narrowly.
I think Specter will trounce Hoeffel and the GOP will take the 13th District back in the House.
I want him to have coat tails a mile long. Clean out the Democrats from the congress once and for all. At least I can dream, can't I?
My parents live in southern Wis and they said they see NO yard signs for Kerry, a few for Bush!
My husband and I had a conversation about that very thing. "Changing the subject" is a nice way of saying what we already know, that Kerry has conveniently put himself on both sides of every issue. This won't wash in the debates because everyone knows Kerry's m.o. now. Also, Bush is no slouch when it comes to debating.
Dickie is low.
do yourself a favor and don't listen to dick morris if he
says the sky is blue. he's a moron.
I'm not projecting based simply on the rally I went to. I live here and recognize that the support is overwhelming. You'll see on Nov 2nd what I'm talking about ;)
