A medical cause for bushisms? (Puke alert)

It is an article of faith with millions of Americans, most of them on the left, that George W. Bush is stupid. Many reasonable people think his policies are ill-advised, but millions more insist Bush must be a moron because he sounds stupid.
The president's tortured "Bushisms" are chronicled daily and have been collected in books. Two of the more notorious are "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family" and "Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream."

I was not going to post this article, but I considered doing so this morning.
It is now being discussed on Boston radio so I changed my mind.
This particular columnist is one that I rarely read, but I do consider him to be completely vile!

"Presenile dementia" - there is no depth to which these people will not sink.
I love it.
This is the kind of rhetoric that makes the hard left rejoice and normal independents shudder with disgust.

They tried the same thing with Reagan. "Senile Old Coot."

No reputable physician would, under any circumstances, diagnose someone without conducting a physical examination. This is utter nonsense.

While the article is totally worthless, irresponsible speculation it is true that Americans have faced this situation before;
Reagan certainly was deteriorating noticeably in his last years in office. He probably never did recover fully from Hinkley's attack.
The American people elected a dead man in 1944 when they chose FDR for a 4th term
Woodrow Wilson was seriously incapacitated for the last two years of his Presidency. He might not even have been functional.
Grant had a serious drinking problem. I'm not sure how serious.
There may have been others I don't know about.
To: Radix
We should do one on Kerryisms. He's had a bunch, that's for sure.
Here's a couple. Just within the last few weeks!
Pronounced a Uzi machine gun as "ushi"
Pronounced Green Bay Packer Lambeau Field as "Lambert Field"
Said his favorite Red Sox player was a player who never played for the Red Sox.
To: Leapfrog
They tried the same thing with Reagan. "Senile Old Coot." And now they strut their uppity smug selves out and claim that the right is "uncivil" because 250 Vietnam Veterans want to share their opinion of Kerry with all. The MSM wrote the book on political incivility.

You are right. I am now diagnosing Kerry with Liar's waffling syndrome.
It's brought on by unbridled political ambition coupled with never being asked to account for anything you've ever done.

Alex Beam is typical of the elitist, condescending self-important snob that inhabits the left wing of the Democrat Party. They chuckle and sneer at the very things that the average American (who outnumbers them 4 to 1) finds endearing in Bush. And these buffoons wonder why they aren't winning????

Yeah, and what about those other Bushisms, like:
I did not have sex with that woman.
It depends on the meaning of the word 'is'.
I tried pot once, but I didn't inhale.
We could've had Osama bin Laden but...
Oh wait, that wasn't Bush...Never mind.

Ok, this is my take on it for what it's worth. The President has a slight speech impediment that I notice mainly because I have the same one.Next time you hear him speak pay attention to the way he pronounces the letter "S" he has a very slight or as the professionals would call it a soft lisp. This is not something that can't be controlled but it takes a constant effort which may explain why his speech sometimes seems strained especially when he uses big words with the letter S in them.

Could Bush have some form of undiagnosed dyslexia.
Is Kerry a compulsive (flip-flopping) liar?
How do you feel since they replaced Dr. Pepper Diet with a new flavor?
Ugh . . .
The nation needs to realize that we are not voting for a president, we are voting for a president, his platform, which falls on his political party, and his private agenda within the parties agenda that is fulfilled by the cabinet members and advisers. A vote for Bush at this point is the same a vote for Kerry, there will have to be change, but until Bush announces that change will occur my vote will go to the one that guarantees Change, and that vote is Kerry.

Voting for Kerry is stupid, and in my opinion no rational thinking person would ever do such a thing!

Bush's purported disease really is merely called "Texan" in most states--at least those that didn't go for Gore by a 2:1 (or greater) margin.

Has anyone noticed that John Kerry is physically incapable of pronouncing the word "idea"?
Kerry ALWAYS says "idea[r]". A brain issue perhaps?
lol
This type of stuff is so pathetic. People that actually focus on this stuff and convince themselves that it is important are hopeless and lost.
Just get out of the way and let them destroy themselves. If ever there were an example of irony, this is it.
