The originator of the online discrediting of the Killian memos identifed himself only as 'Buckhead,' but a little sleuthing on the website pulls up his other postings and thus a lot more about him.
On the site, (MSNBC displays FreeRepublic.com page with the Buckhead posting) Buckhead claims he is a lawyer from the Atlanta area who participated last month in a meeting of lawyers for Bush-Cheney, an organization he said will be called upon in the event there are election irregularities and everyone winds up in court again.
He says he was worked for a Congressman prominent in GOP legal circles down in Georgia.
So the Killian documents come out and are almost immediately questioned by a lawyer with Republican ties and are distributed to other news organiztions without comment by the White House and they nly have one of their principal endorsers (Bobby Hodges) retract his endorsement.

The famous guitarist? ;^)
Keith Olbermann thinks he's so darn clever, but he's not. He himself admits that the documents are obvious forgeries, but he's still puzzled that Buckhead could figure this out so quickly, and it must be because of some nefarious Republican ties. He's arguing out of both sides of his mouth here. The real question for Olbermann is why he, and all the rest of the MSM, as well as the DNC, thought the docs were real before bloggers pointed out the errors.
The liberal media thinks they can convince the masses that the content of phony, set-up, lying documents should be discussed - even after discovering they are phony?
And these people think they are the elite ruling class?
I don't know many people who study scams to see the "truth" of the message.
Maybe this is why they are so concerned about criminals - they chose to ignore the fraud, the crime, the lying and concentrate on what they are trying to say.
Guess they expect us to ignore the fraud, the lying, the corruption of the democrat party and listen to what they - the ruling elite - want us to believe.
No. America is full of people that respect honor and integrity - we look for it in others, especially our leaders. Don't expect us to find it in the democrat party and, therefore, we won't find a leader there either.
Too funny HAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHA...Wish I could cash in on that bet but..Ya $$$ is safe ...
Only an old time freeper would know that. I sure never knew that could be done and I've been here 4 yrs.
This web site is to be closed immediately!
I'm shocked, shocked that there are Republican lawyers in this establishment!
Is this the beginning of 'Deep Buck' or 'Deep Buckhead'? That's enough wordspin for me I think...
Buckhead was originally christened "Deep Font."
"Follow the kerning."

Careful, you are coming across as a pompous elitist liberal.
Intelligence, content is not determined by english usage or spelling - no matter how others will say it is. Proper usage only promotes the "impression" that there is intelligence.
No . . . I am Buckhead!
DEEP FONT...LOL!
No, thaz Bruth Thpringthpeen...
Heck, we're from the south. Everybody at the DU knows that we're all related to each other anyhow. Heck, Bill Clinton is Buckheads 3rd cousin by marriage.... or divorce... not sure which since we don't have a bottle to spin.
If it's something the MSM wants to see (i.e. the Killian "memos"), it gets a cursory glance, a "looks good to me", and a "run with it."
If it's something the MSM doesn't want to see (i.e. irrefutable proof that the Killian "memos" are fakes), it's "Who came up with this and how does he know Karl Rove? What's his blood type? Who does he work for? Did he actually SEE someone create these fakes, or is it just pure conjecture?"
