UNFIT FOR COMMAND NO. 1 ON NYT, USA TODAY LISTS. John O'Neill's Unfit for Command (Regnery/FaithWorks) is No. 1 on the New York Times and USA Today best-seller lists. The book is in its 10 th printing, with more than 650,000 copies in print.
holyscroller note: This is the first time I've seen the book being promoted via the Christian Market!
It's about time! Haven't they figured out that he's no better for Christians than he was for POWs?
Crap, becomes #1!
I saw "Unfit" for the first time over the weekend in a B&N. I'd gotten so used to seeing an empty shelf with a little sign indicating that's where the books would be if only they were in stock! Seeing the book was almost a surreal experience, as was picking it up and actually HOLDING it in my hands. Like a mirage or something! LOL!
Dimocrat Christians=oxymoron
Congratulations to O'Neil.
Your link to CBA is incorrect. It should be www.cbaonline.org
I saw O'Neill and others at the rally in DC this weekend via CSPAN. It was great. O'Neill had just a few crumpled pieces of pappers with notes but barely looked at the notes. He came across as speaking straight from the heart.
Totally inspiring.
I saw that rally too. All of the speakers tore at my heart. The daughters, the Chaplain, Mr. O'Neill, the Nurse, the POW, all of them. Sad but uplifting. They are united in keeping that traitor scum Kerry out of the White House. If he gets in, I think I'll have to seek professional help. I'm series.

I wanted it so badly, I bought two!---One for me and one for my Mom.
I picked up a second copy today... Borders did not have it in..they are very sparse on conservative titles. B. Dalton had quite a few copies with a counter display.
He is gifted with the art of understating the obvious.
The book is highly readable. It's actually difficult to put down. Something else happens with this book. The reader develops an appreciation of the duties performed honorably and dangers faced by the Swifties back in the Viet Nam war.
O'Neill and Corsi's sincerety is genuine; and, their passion and lawyer-like attention to details combine to form a convincing [and historical] writing that will scare as much as inform.
Sounds like I should give B Dalton a shot at my book buying dollar.
Great - now I feel like a jerk. I'll have to buy her the new book the Swiftees will come out with!
Then why the F*** can't I get a copy of this anywhere but at WND???? Criminy no book store has it and the Net has nothing but long delays.....Since the first run was only something like 80,000 I am just furious at Regnery....Why did they think that this wasn't going to sell????
I saw it at Sam's club yesterday.
