Statement by Ralph Reed on John Kerry’s Divisive Attack on the Third Anniversary of September 11
George W. Bush ^ | September 13, 2004

Posted on 09/13/2004 6:18:40 PM PDT by RWR8189

ATLANTA, GA – Ralph Reed today issued the following statement on John Kerry’s divisive attack on the third anniversary of September 11:

"John Kerry's use of the parable of the Good Samaritan to condemn the President on the third anniversary of the September 11th attacks crosses a line that is sad to witness. Prior to yesterday's attack by Senator Kerry, our national political leaders had refrained from political bickering on the anniversary of that tragic day. It is upsetting to see Senator Kerry break that unspoken observance, and sad too that he would choose to use people's faith to do so. His divisive statements are disappointing coming from someone who aspires to the highest office in the land."

John Kerry is so focused on winning he'll do and say anything, anytime and anywhere.

It will be a pleasant day in America when we retire him from public life after this election.

"...from someone who aspires to the highest office in the land."

Does anyone else get the impression that Kerry doesn't seem to want the job anymore?

GO RALPH GO!!!

But what else can we expect from kerry and other mean-spirited democrats? They've attacked Bush's children and just recently, they've attacked his wife.

When I read what Kerry said about Bush not being a "good Samaritan", I was appalled. Kerry is about out of gas when he has to attack the president based on religion. Can you imagine if the president said something about Kerry's faith?

The irony is that Kerry's faith is utterly criticizable, but Bush is too much the gentleman - and too shrewd - to do so. Kerry is one empty man, desperate for ammunition, uncaring about detrimental effects to the nation, and most thankfully, increasingly failing in his attempts as more and more people see through his hypocrisy.

As Rush pointed out, Kerry said that Pres. Bush is like the the priest and Levite in the story of the Good Samaritan. They ignore the hurting man who's been beaten by robbers and left for dead.

Rush says that in 1991 Kerry's income tax form has ZERO charitable deductions on about 120000 income. Bush had about 15000 on 150000.

In 1992 Kerry had charitable deductions of about 700 on a little more income. Bush had 20000 on about 170000.

He went on like that, and pointed out that Kerry thinks giving other people's money makes him a righteous dude. All it makes him is a hypocritical politician. The president gives his OWN cash.

When it comes to helping those beaten by robbers, who helped the Iraqi people beaten by Saddam, Uday, and Qusay? Who dispatched the robbers to their just rewards? Sure as hell wasn't "Senate Intelligence Committee Absentee" John F'n Kerry.

Very true. As a catholic, I'm so happy he isn't church shopping any longer trying to get his picture taken each Sunday. He is embarrassing.

In Kerry's version of the story, the Good Samaritan puts the injured man on his donkey and brings him to a free government-run health clinic.

After Kerry loses, can he just resume his Senate seat like nothing happened? When is he up for reelection? Is there some point prior to the General Election when he must resign his Senate seat?

He attacked people of faith because although he professes to be a Catholic, I am convinced he is an atheistic Marxist.

He can just go on like nothing has happened. Joe lieberman was in the same position and he is still a Senator from Conn. In fact Lieberman was up for reelection and ran for both offices at the same time.

'Sin'ator Ketchup is a typical democrat. That party has been seeking empowerment through the blood of innocent alive babies being slaughtered by serial killers--euphemistically called abortionists. It's no surprise to witness their nominee for president using any filthy democrat tactic to try and get votes ... the surprise would be if he didn't behave as a typical democrat politician!
