Did anybody just hear Keith Olberman talking about Buckhead???
I wasn't paying that much attention, but I could have sworn I heard him say that "Buckhead" was an attorney who had just been to a meeting with the Bush-Cheney group before the memos were shown on CBS!
He acted like Buckhead had given an interview.
Puzzling.
I wouldn't worry about Buckhead being outed. There are thousands of attorneys in Atlanta and the successful ones live in ta-da! Buckhead.
I don't care about that.
Besides, he doesn't live in Buckhead.
Does MSNBC repeat their shows like Fox? If so, when will this repeat?
Of course he went on about how Dan Rather would never intentionally report bad information ..
What got me TICKED was how he was saying we on the Internet are irresponsible in the way we handled this
How we just jumped to conclusion and didn't research the memos out before accusing Dan of reporting false information and then sending it out to all the talk radio shows
HEY BILL .. HOW ABOUT THE IRRESPONIBLE REPORTING FROM CBS???
HOW ABOUT TALKING ABOUT HOW THEY LIED TO US!!
/ rant>
I think I need to go calm down
Midnight.
We need to send a copy of "TimeZones for Dummies" to Olberman.
It was OReilly and Larry Sabato. A battle of wits where both combatants are unarmed.
Basically, they were talking about how the internet can filter news instantly, and how political and media establishment will have to adjust to that. Then Bill was complaining how he doesn't give interviews anymore because they are instantly analyzed and spun on the net.
Well, Dan can now say this is proof positive that the documents are not fakes.
Ha! you beat me. I was gonna break out my little yellow ones with pansies all over them and really celebrate by wearing my slippers!
OK, I think I have a grasp of where he was going here.
I am lousy at stats, but I'd have to tell Olbermann that the chance of some Freeper doing campaign work for the Bush/Cheney camp is very high. In addition, the Sixty Minutes thing was anticipated because we knew about that Barnes character being dragged out to spew his lies, so again, the odds on Freeper interest extremely high.
I'd have to say Olbermann's suspicions are silly, but I expect the usual suspects to think he's "on to something".
It never ends.
Midnight...got it.
It's kind of a complement, really. They can't admit that FR/bloggers are mostly amateurs, and we still showed them up.
Oooooooooh, we all better hush up.
NOT
Yep saw that & got pretty pissed here as well. Basically saying that all of us here & all the bloggers who the info &n ran with it are completely partisan, like we never question thier idea's or motives.
He might want to come & read the fourms here before opening his mouth cause I have seen plenty of freepers here not only question President Bush & the RNC's judgement/motives on things they have out right blasted them for it.
If Buckhead is a lawyer.....olbermann may have screwed the pooch.
A) It makes Buckhead look even more credible.
B) Olbermann called him an Active Republican.
Define Active Republican. IF Olbermann is trying to imply something....Buckhead could own him!
Earlier posts?
So they are watching us?
But here is a problem - couldn't anyone claim to be Buckhead? it can't be verified, except perhaps through fixed IP address matching (and who is going to do that).
So basically, he can set up the boundaries with the media, but his publicist can't muzzle us.
They better get used to that.
I know of a nasty little site that prints ugly gossip about Hollywood types (research links are not their forte), so elites better get the message - you no longer have control of the flow of information.
They should be grateful they don't get the unresearched treatment that others are getting on the 'net.
