Did anybody just hear Keith Olberman talking about Buckhead???
I wasn't paying that much attention, but I could have sworn I heard him say that "Buckhead" was an attorney who had just been to a meeting with the Bush-Cheney group before the memos were shown on CBS!

He's so desperate that he's appealing to the america haters to improve his ratings Possible .. but (imo) I don't think it's because of ratings .. it's just plain old denial to admit that Dan & CBS screwed up

Olbermann was attempting to infer that the Rather memos may be a plot unleashed via a VRWC. We are the VRWC. We're here, we're conservative, and...

What would the payoff be for O'R to constantly give aid and comfort to the enemies.
If not ratings, then what......

O'Reilly....such an arrogant ass.
B/O is just half a step behind Matthews when it comes to talking over the top of his guests.

(imo) There is no pay off for O'Rielly
He's just an old stubborn Irish guy that doesn't want to think the worst of Dan and CBS
Sooner or later he'll figure it out

Might I remind you that Tenet was a KLINTON appointee...
Forgive me if I don't share your enthusiasm.
To: Limbaudda
I didn't need your reminder and just because I don't despise the man does not translate into "enthusiasm".
Your theory is still off the mark the someone in the WH concocted the things.

Tenet was by no means Clinton's preferred choice. Clinton chose Woolsey but Woolsey saw the light and cleared out of that administration. John Deutch was Clinton's choice, but Deutch got caught taking home classified amterials, for which Clinton pardoned him at the end of his administration. Tenet ended up with the job because Clinton didn't stand a chance in hell of getting any of his other people in with Chinagate and everything else swirling about. Tenet had a big job ahead of him- reversing some of the messes Deutch made but having the same loser Ray McGovern types to deal with.

And we can expect a bunch of nutjobs to show up here. Stune your beebers! And don't give them more than a few posts before they're pulled. Waste of broadband and our time.
To: Mo1
Of course he went on about how Dan Rather would never intentionally report bad information .. Which is precisely what Mike Wallace, other libs and now even O'Reilly are saying in defense of Rather. It doesn't fly and Bernard Goldberg who worked closely with Rather agrees.
