Did anybody just hear Keith Olberman talking about Buckhead???

I wasn't paying that much attention, but I could have sworn I heard him say that "Buckhead" was an attorney who had just been to a meeting with the Bush-Cheney group before the memos were shown on CBS!

Used to be that O'R had the highest cable ratings. Now H&C have overtaken his show.

He's so desperate that he's appealing to the america haters to improve his ratings.

But even if the phoney memos were created by a Republican trickster, it still makes CBS, Rather, Kerry, and all the DNC dopes look like the complete fools that they are for being so eager to swallow the concoction.

So Olbermannnnnn wants it both ways. (no surprise)

He wants the documents to be legitimate but then suggests a Republican set up?

No wonder these people like Kerry.

Next they'll be saying that it was Buckhead who posted the documents on the CBS website.

LOL......none of that saying the documents came from the White House makes sense. I thought I heard that Rather had the docs for over six weeks.

Third, nobody at CBS has been able to prove that the docs are real.

This is the goofy part. It should be soooooo easy for CBS to get whatever type of equipment their expert says could have produced the documents and type fresh reproductions. Then, using the superimposing method demonstrated here say, there, that's exactly what is seen on our memos created on an early 70's piece of equipment.

They don't because they can't. Pure and simple.

Five days ago they saw how Freepers did it. You just know they tried it themselves as it is the first thing anyone would think of -- hey, somebody type this memo in MS Word, like they did on the net, see if we get the same results. You know they validated the method, otherwise Rather would have been all over any discrepancies he found.

The second thing they would do is ask the question of what equipment could have produced the memo and they would have gotten the equipment tried it. Again you know they failed because had they succeeded, Rather would have been trumpeting the reproduction.

Five days, CBS. Five days. And you've not identified a single method of reproducing the memos using 70's technology. Experts have tried and experts have failed, yet everybody and his brother have tested and validated the MS Word method.

Dan Rather is either stupid or he is scum. Either way he should be off the air.

It's late, and I don't have time to read the almost 600 posts on this thread, so this may have been said somewhere earlier in the thread. But, just in case it hasn't, on Joe Scarborough's show Scarborough Country tonite, he had 4 people on to discuss the Rather Scam incident, and the new media vs. the old media. One of the four was Carl Limbacher, from what is it, NewsMax.com?, or wherever. Limbacher mentioned Free Republic when discussing the inability of the old media to get away with saying whatever lies they wanted to, without being called out on them by the new media. But he actually said "Free Republic" site as one of the examples of new media (along with Drudge), loud and clear. Go FR!

I don't believe Carl Rove would actually be a freeper. I believe he would send one of his mind numbed robots out to do the deed. I am sure he has plants in every possible place he can. It's all part of the vast right wing conspiracy to make the DU foam at the mouth.

"Are they going to be produced? That would be a great way to raise money for the site"

Well, it just came up, but a lot of FReepers think it's a great idea. Maybe the FReepstuff people will come up with something. They should do them in silks and flannels.

silks and flannels

.........fine with me. I'll be getting two sets of flannels for this coming "global warming winter" which the Farmers Almanac says will be the coldest in a long time. Last winter was bad enough!

Bring on the pajamas.

The Pajama People rule!

p.s. I suggest nice fancy robes too!

" I suggest nice fancy robes too!"

Yes...one in a very nice silk, to match the pajamas, and the other in a nice, warm fleecy fabric.

Hello Mr. Buckhead. I'm honored by your reply. I'm thinking Freepers should hold an inauguration party in our pajamas. What do you think?
