Why wouldn't it be?? Nader got 97,000 votes in FL in 2000. Votes that almost certainly would have otherwise gone to Gore.
That being said, I think W will win Florida by at least 3 points this time so the point is moot.

Yes, for two reasons: 1) Nader will pull votes away from Kerry in far greater numbers than from Bush. 2) Continued legal efforts to remove Nader from the ballot will scream disenfranchisement.

That's right, they're pro-choice until it actually comes down to an issue of choice, then they don't want anyone to have any.
This is very troubling. What's the point of buying the Florida State Supreme Court if they won't stay bought. They made stuff up in 1999 and earned their bribes, even though honest judges overturned them. If they are not going to keep Nader from the ballot, why are the unions paying them?

WOO HOO. Ralph will work his magic in 2004 just like he did in 2000. I noticed the fla. dem party chair expressed shock,... shock about this. Dems are already conjuring up feigned outrage about the bush henchmen conspiracy plots. Sidney Blumenthal and Paul Krugman must be untangling this as we speak.
Folks, if you're going to comment, read the story carefully.
The courts have yet to rule. Remember, the Florida Supreme Court is almost wholly Democratic, and we've seen them in action before.
There is no real news here as yet.
They should send out the ballots in advance so that even Democrats know exactly what to expect when they vote this November 7th.
