Why wouldn't it be?? Nader got 97,000 votes in FL in 2000. Votes that almost certainly would have otherwise gone to Gore.

That being said, I think W will win Florida by at least 3 points this time so the point is moot.

Taking Nader off the ballot in no way guarantees more votes for the Democrat at the top of the ticket. It probably does guarantee less Democrat votes down ticket since Nader voters who are denied their choice at the top might just opt to stay home.
