It is still good news. The alternative was to send out the ballots without Nader as an option.

Yes, a Fla. circuit court judge did rule. There was at least one thread on it, probably more

Also, the composition of the Fla. unsupreme court has changed, courtesy of Jeb Bush. Charlie Wells is no longer alone. He has been joined by Cantero & Bell. Any time they get another judge to join them, it's a majority.

There will still be 2800 people in Palm Beach County who will cast a vote for Pat Buchanan, and say they intended to vote for Algore.

Where can we donate to Ralph's legal fund to get him on as many state ballots as possible?

The Florida Democratic Party reacted with outrage, calling the move "blatant partisan maneuvering" by Gov. Jeb Bush, the president's younger brother, and vowed to fight it.

Once again the RATs demonstrate their distain for the voting process.

Go Ralph Go.

Taking Nader off the ballot in no way guarantees more votes for the Democrat at the top of the ticket. It probably does guarantee less Democrat votes down ticket since Nader voters who are denied their choice at the top might just opt to stay home.

Read this for a well-resoned argument on our Two-Faced Duopoly.

Still good news, but not very important news. The one thing it does prove is that some of the GOP officials in the state have a little spine.

Before all is said and done, they'll need a lot.

The RAT nimrods will probably write in GORE, justifying it saying their vote last year didn't count, but this year will be different!

I don't agree with filing a law suit to keep a guy from running for office.

The Dems are pathetic. I don't think Nader should be anywhere near govt. But still. Let him lose by votes.

The 'Rats next move will be threatening Nader voters to try to intimidate them into voting for Kerry in a move that may very well backfire.

A persistent, enthusiastic Nader voter is much madder (more hate-filled) and radical than any three likely "I don't like Bush" Kerry voter.

I wouldn't recommend pissing the Nader voters off.

Kerry so foolish a campaigner that he might anyway, but if Kerry is a "likely" loser against Bush, then the Nader voters will definitely want to cast their protest ballots to the person they prefer. Nader.
