Mmmm! My mom and I both make the same recipe of chocolate sheet cake. There's a touch of cinnamon in it and you pour the icing on while the cake is hot. YUM!!

Almond Roca.
I found out recently that this is a local thing (Puget Sound, Washington state) when I brought it to a meeting at work, and two people originally from pennsylvania hadn't a clue as to what it was.
One of those people was a woman who is watching her weight. She took a bite, rolled her eyes, moaned, shot daggers at me with her eyes, and said "don't you ever bring this stuff again!"
It's kind of a toffee log thing rolled in chocolate and smothered in chopped almonds. Unfortunately, I have no picture. They're decadently yummy.

If I'm going to be really bad, my favorite favorite favorite is lemon or lime meringue pie. Only made like a key lime pie, with a ginger snap crust. Made a really fattening one for my son last month before he went to survival training, but I can make it really low fat, and that's the version I eat.
