.is anyone else tired of hearing about swift boats and typewriters?...both of these political parties are getting on my nerves...The Swift Boat Vets are independent. They are not tied in any way to the Republican party.

The swift boat veterans are private citizens. They have nothing to do with the republican party.

Libertarian, eh?
And you equate SBVT with slander and libel by a government-licensed media entity?
Care to expound on that? I'd be interested in reading how you will defend yourself.
Otherwise, you may find yourself ZOTTED.

The "swift boats" are NOT a political party. They are not run by a political party.
John O'Neill is a DEMOCRAT .. who did not vote for George Bush.
The "swift boats" have said over and over, they do not take orders from George Bush. They are in this for the long haul and will not stop until the election is over and John Kerry IS NOT President.

The problem is with the Kerry campaign, the Democratic Party, and the MSM. Get with the program.

It's my understanding that John O'Neill, the spokesman for the Swift Vote Vets,is a Democrat(though I would imagine he's voting for President Bush this election).

"is anyone else tired of hearing about swift boats and typewriters?"I think it's just you and probably Dan Rather. You, of course, have the option of not reading threads and posts on those topics. Dan will be hearing about it for some time whether he wants to or not.
"both of these political parties are getting on my nerves"You could always drop a dime on Ed and Terry over at the national committees. Once they've heard about your nervous condition, I'm sure they'll tone things down for you.
