DNC TO LAUNCH FRESH ATTACK ON BUSH GUARD DUTY: WILL RAISE QUESTIONS ABOUT 1978 CAMPAIGN LIT
**Exclusive**
Faster than a CBS eye can blink, dogged Dems are set to take to the airwaves anew hoping to keep questions about President Bush's National Guard duty in play, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Candidate Kerry apparently has rejected former President Clinton's advice not to get further locked in a 2004 Vietnam quagmire.
"George W. Bush's campaign literature claimed that he 'served in the U.S. Air Force.' The only problem? He didn't," slams a new DNC press release set for distribution.
Dems will attempt to increase the heat on Bush ahead of his planned Tuesday address before The National Guard Association gathering in Las Vegas.
In 2000, Bush opened his National Guard Association speech: "General, I am reporting for duty."
MORE
Kerry plans to speak to the group on Thursday, but he personally hold back questioning Bush's service, sources explain.
The coordinated nationwide effort this week by the DNC has been code-named "Project Fortunate Son."
"George Bush has a clear pattern of lying about his military service," DNC Communications Director Jano Cabrera blasts in the new release. "From 1978 to the present day, George Bush has refused to tell voters the truth about his service. It's time for the President to come clean."
"Flyers distributed to Texas voters during Bush's failed Congressional race say 'he served in the U.S. Air Force and the Texas Air National Guard.' But according to Air Force officials, Air National Guardsmen are not counted as members of the active-duty Air Force."

BTW, followed up and found: "Although the Air National Guard was not established as a separate component of the U.S. Air Force until 1947, National Guard aviators have played significant roles in all of America's wars and most of its major contingencies since the beginning of the 20th..." Ref: http://www.ang.af.mil/ I think after Drudge's usually accurate statements, that I'll send this to FOX. They are starting to report on the matter. I think we all need to blits FOX... hey why not CBS too, perhaps they will flip lop over? Someone has a doc showing Kerry wasn't in the Navy in a subsequent post.

The ownership information was updated in 2003. The site itself may be recently updated.
Is there a way to find out its traffic.
Actually its "historic" we pages should be on waybackmachine.com that should have the old versions.

do a search on the california secretary of state's site to find out about who runs/is president of tell the truth, inc.

the drop in the latest newsweek poll shows that people are believing him less. is this the case, or just a bad poll?I'm surprised Newsweek had Bush ahead at all. Usually, the democrat is ahead no matter what in their polls.
Rasmussen is a pretty reliable pollster. They do a daily poll, too.
Zogby is pro-Arab, so you might want to ignore that one.
To: concerned about politics
zogby is messed up. he had bush and kerry TIED right now - when in fact, if you live here in missouri you know the reality of the matter. i see maybe 1 kerry bumper sticker in a month time. meanwhile i see too many to count "w '04" stickers..
i know thats not a scientific survey, but i think it shows at very least the intensity people want bush to be re-elected here.
also.. note that gallup and other polls have bush up double digits here.
I agree with rove, though, Ohio is ground zero.

This delays the discussion on any other really important issue. How much time will be left to expose Lurch's Parisian Perfidy?

I think so, but I forget how. I don't dabble in that stuff too often. The web site that monitors arab terrorist web pages has that info.
I can't even remember the html code to paste pics here, LoL

Laura Bush apparently was in a car accident where she hit another car, which was being driven by a family friend. For some reason the DUmmies assign malicious intent to it, simply because she is a Bush.

Well, it's working isn't it. That's all I'm hearing on TV. Fox or somebody needs to get the swift boat vets out and about! This all happened to come out right when that new "Stolen Honor" video was released. Maybe it's all a diversion from Kerry's testimony being publicized.

I cannot believe how utterly stupid these people are.
First they try to say Bush was removed from flying status because he disobeyed an order and they us an AFM - AIR FORCE MANUAL - as the directive that did this. Then they try to say he was NEVER in the AIR FORCE
Hello DUMSHITS!! I mean DUMBOCRAPS!! er DEMOCRATS, if he was NEVER in the AIR FORCE then he was never subject to AIR FORCE REGULATIONS so he could not have been REMOVED fromflying status for disobeying an AIR FORCE REGULATION.
Democrats - You are friggin MORONS!!!!

This is beyond desperate. This Kerry campaign will go down as the dumbest one in history of American politics.

Kerry has no message thats why they keep doing this.
To: knak
That's what I suspect, it's the democrat equivelent to puting your fingers in your ears and yelling LALALALALA! so you can't here the truth.
By putting up all this nonsence it's taking away from the swifty's and "stolen honor"

(Why is the MSM calling the Vietnam Vets and POW's a suspected group??)
To: Crazieman
Sorry if this has already been noted, but the thread is too long to read through it all.
On page 10 of 33 of GWB's
military records, it is plainly obvious that he was promoted to the rank of "AMN" in the USAF Reserves on 13 August 1968. GWB is fully justified in referring to himself as a former member of the USAF.

As a person with an IQ over 80 what do you think is going to happen to President Bush poll numbers?
As a person with an IQ over 80 do you think that these garbage fictional books and this National Guard stuff will have any impact on President Bush?
This Kerry and DNC campaign is the most desperate and dumbest campaign in history of American politics.
To: Conservative til I die
This is old news, and also very cruel to bring up again. I lived in Midland for about 20 years and people who had known Laura when she was young say she was very upset as one could imagine.
To: Brad from Tennessee
I wonder if Terry McAuliffe realizes that a great number of the officers serving on active duty are in the Reserves. It used to be most of them. Oh, but no, Terry never served a day himself.
