DNC TO LAUNCH FRESH ATTACK ON BUSH GUARD DUTY: WILL RAISE QUESTIONS ABOUT 1978 CAMPAIGN LIT
**Exclusive**
Faster than a CBS eye can blink, dogged Dems are set to take to the airwaves anew hoping to keep questions about President Bush's National Guard duty in play, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Candidate Kerry apparently has rejected former President Clinton's advice not to get further locked in a 2004 Vietnam quagmire.
"George W. Bush's campaign literature claimed that he 'served in the U.S. Air Force.' The only problem? He didn't," slams a new DNC press release set for distribution.
Dems will attempt to increase the heat on Bush ahead of his planned Tuesday address before The National Guard Association gathering in Las Vegas.
In 2000, Bush opened his National Guard Association speech: "General, I am reporting for duty."
MORE
Kerry plans to speak to the group on Thursday, but he personally hold back questioning Bush's service, sources explain.
The coordinated nationwide effort this week by the DNC has been code-named "Project Fortunate Son."
"George Bush has a clear pattern of lying about his military service," DNC Communications Director Jano Cabrera blasts in the new release. "From 1978 to the present day, George Bush has refused to tell voters the truth about his service. It's time for the President to come clean."
"Flyers distributed to Texas voters during Bush's failed Congressional race say 'he served in the U.S. Air Force and the Texas Air National Guard.' But according to Air Force officials, Air National Guardsmen are not counted as members of the active-duty Air Force."

Whoever produced this campaign push card didn't do his homework very well. The writer has Bush serving after Yale AND Harvard. Bush may not have even proofread this piece. For all we know, it may have been a trashed piece.

These documents also show John Kerry as NOT being in the Navy.

Did not mean to diaparage. I seen enough accident reports to understand that accidents do happen, though tragic, that is why they are called accidents.

Sleepwalking episodes are intensified by being under pressure during the day time.

Put the DNC on suicide watch and double up on the medication.

They're trying to put us on the defensive instead of it being on them. We need to turn this back around. Hassle sKerry about his medals some more. And his lack of records.

I Know, hehehe! download them before they dissapear.
I didn't know that the site has not been updated since 2003, Now I really wonder how these fake docs got on it.
I did a Killian signature comparison on those docs.
out of six 2 are completely different, and 4 docs share 2 identical, and I mean copy and paste identicle signature patterns. same as the ones CBS aired.

How long can you beat a dead horse!Carville and Begala are truly mean-spirited individuals. Their lust for payback is clouding their judgement, in my opinion.

"Flyers distributed to Texas voters during Bush's failed Congressional race say...."
A lousy flyer is inaccurate? It was way back in the 70's for crying out loud. Those people must not be getting any rest if they think this some big deal. Krauthammer is right. These people really will need therapy when they lose this and they will lose.

I served 1970-1971 and there was no such test. In fact, at the beginning of my tour in Germany, there were few drug problems- by the end drugs were a major problem.

Pukin Dog - can you shed some light on this issue. At the time when Bush was training to become a pilot, he was being trained by the Air Force. When young Marine pilots are first trained, it is by the Navy.
The Democrats are counting on the ignorance of the general public to win the day. This is a non issue, a non-story, and we are giving it too much attention here. After a day or two of the Democrats going off half-cocked, it will be over.
This is how the Democrats plan to hide their loser-candidate until November. He will take no questions and only attack. He will lose.
