If 250,000 New York Driver's Licenses Do Not Match Social Security Data, How Many Voters are Illegally Registered?
FAIR Makes Formal Demand on New York Election Board
In light of recent revelations that New York Department of Motor Vehicles has issued as many as 250,000 driver's licenses to individuals who provided Social Security numbers that do not match information in the Social Security Administration's database, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is calling upon the state's Board of Elections to conduct a county by county review of voter rolls. Under the Motor Voter law, it is reasonable to "assume that large numbers of individuals have also been unlawfully registered to vote," state FAIR in a formal demand letter to Board of Elections Chair Carole Berman.
"After the 2000 voting fiasco in Florida, that included allegations of fraudulent voting in addition to the infamous hanging chads, it is vital that every state take precautions to prevent a repeat of the situation," cautioned Dan Stein, executive director of FAIR. "If the DMV found a quarter of a million improperly issued driver's licenses nearly the equivalent of the population of Buffalo there is a very strong possibility that large numbers of people are also improperly registered to vote, and may be in a position to decide a very tight election."
It is believed that a large percentage of the 250,000 individuals whose driver's license applications included erroneous Social Security information are illegal aliens. Because many people register to vote at the time they apply for a driver's license, it must be assumed by county registrars that a significant number of illegal aliens have also been added to voter rolls.
"We learned four years ago that when the integrity of the voter registration process is compromised, the outcome of elections including the presidency of the United States can be compromised," said Stein. "In the post-9/11 era, allowing people to obtain driver's licenses, voter registration cards and other state-issued ID is also a threat to security. It is a lesson that New Yorkers know better than anyone.
"The names and addresses of the 250,000 people identified by the DMV are right there on their licenses. It should not be a major undertaking to cross reference those names against county voter rolls," Stein continued. "What we are asking is that the Board of Elections live up to what is stated in its charter, which includes 'the preservation of citizen confidence in the democratic process and enhancement in voter participation in elections.' Making sure that illegal aliens are not casting votes in New York would seem to fit that description of the Board's responsibility." A copy of the letter can be obtained from FAIR.

Is that all? (250k.)
Oh, BTW, no out-sourcing allowed. :o)
Gruesome!!
that sad they were not able to register all seven. im sure in their country they could have 10 papers on the same goat.
Good Idea... Signing this bill and giving them drivers licenses will have the same results in Ca, that it had in Ny.
AND we're supposedly have this foreign contingent of election observers! Wonder if they'll get to vote too.

So what's the problem? Cancel the Drivers Licenses, send a cancellation note to the address listed, a note to all states, notes to all states/county voting registrars, and wait. One way or another the long arm of the law will pick them up.
I'm sure they would, but this stuff is quite common.
How about, how many voters are illegally registered in the U.S.?
Not terribly scientific, but I dropped 50,000 from the NY total and multiplied by 50 states = 10,000,000.
How many of us for so many years have known this was going to happen. What will it take for us to get control of our government again?

Based on his inaction, I'd say our president is hoping there are 250,000 bush voters....................
$200,000 billion to bring the great society to iraq........
Jack shit for AMERICANS' safety.
Ok, Moby.
Correct me if I'm wrong...........
But they're not upset that they're going to lose their nannies and drivers, who should be deported for breaking the law multiple times?
you actually think these people will be deported? in NY? no way.
BTTT
The information in Social Security that does not match is most likely addresses, phone numbers, as this is a mobile society and 90% of people who move rarely send Social Security an update.
Of course a small percentage would be the dead voters who don't match because their SS records were pulled and transferred to deceased when they died. And now that democrats/republicans/independents who are registering to vote that are dead, it presents a clear conflict of information.
I'd tell them to report to an address of one of the Brooklyn warehouses to correct the problem. A warehouse on the docks.
"You no fix, I board the ships!" would be their last words on American soil.
