250,000 New York Driver's Licenses Do Not Match Social Security Data

If 250,000 New York Driver's Licenses Do Not Match Social Security Data, How Many Voters are Illegally Registered?

FAIR Makes Formal Demand on New York Election Board

In light of recent revelations that New York Department of Motor Vehicles has issued as many as 250,000 driver's licenses to individuals who provided Social Security numbers that do not match information in the Social Security Administration's database, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is calling upon the state's Board of Elections to conduct a county by county review of voter rolls. Under the Motor Voter law, it is reasonable to "assume that large numbers of individuals have also been unlawfully registered to vote," state FAIR in a formal demand letter to Board of Elections Chair Carole Berman.

"After the 2000 voting fiasco in Florida, that included allegations of fraudulent voting in addition to the infamous hanging chads, it is vital that every state take precautions to prevent a repeat of the situation," cautioned Dan Stein, executive director of FAIR. "If the DMV found a quarter of a million improperly issued driver's licenses — nearly the equivalent of the population of Buffalo — there is a very strong possibility that large numbers of people are also improperly registered to vote, and may be in a position to decide a very tight election."

It is believed that a large percentage of the 250,000 individuals whose driver's license applications included erroneous Social Security information are illegal aliens. Because many people register to vote at the time they apply for a driver's license, it must be assumed by county registrars that a significant number of illegal aliens have also been added to voter rolls.

"We learned four years ago that when the integrity of the voter registration process is compromised, the outcome of elections — including the presidency of the United States — can be compromised," said Stein. "In the post-9/11 era, allowing people to obtain driver's licenses, voter registration cards and other state-issued ID is also a threat to security. It is a lesson that New Yorkers know better than anyone.

"The names and addresses of the 250,000 people identified by the DMV are right there on their licenses. It should not be a major undertaking to cross reference those names against county voter rolls," Stein continued. "What we are asking is that the Board of Elections live up to what is stated in its charter, which includes 'the preservation of citizen confidence in the democratic process and enhancement in voter participation in elections.' Making sure that illegal aliens are not casting votes in New York would seem to fit that description of the Board's responsibility." A copy of the letter can be obtained from FAIR.

Tommy Lee Jones (Agent K): "There are approximately 1500 aliens in Manhattan."
Will Smith (Agent J): "Cab drivers?"
Tommy Lee Jones (Agent K): "Not as many as you think."

The democrats from New York, who winter is Florida, also vote twice once in New York and once in Florida. That is the reason wGore was so close in Florida.

Sorry, no. Should have included a sarcasm tag.

However, I'd check with Social Security and request a report of earnings for anything strange. I mean, how likely is it that someone just "made up" a SS # that happened to be valid?

A poster from another thread mentioned your SS # could be "borrowed" from any number of places.

I know my SS# is not to be used as a form of ID, but how many times are you asked to furnish it? A couple years back I switched long-distance phone service. It had to be independently verified that it was my choice to switch companies. I had some shop (in Texas, no less) call for verification and asked for my mother's maiden name AND my Social Security number. I told them I didn't give out that kind of information over the phone. Know what? They shut off my service. I had to go through the whole thing again but was connected via the phone service representative to the third party verifier.

It's (SS #) way overused. Know some people who still have it printed on checks!!

"What are the requirements for one to vote in New York state?"

About the same as if you want to run for office. Where ever Hillary ran strong you can bet that is where you will find the mixed up licenses.

side note, it happen to an account that I opend with a credit union. someone forged a customers name and used her checks. the bank closed her account, the thiefs than used a random account#, mine, and used her name. the union closed my account and told me I owed them money. long story short, it did happen, luckly for me, I did not use this as an primary account or primary bank for that matter. and only had 200 in it. the CU reimbursed me for all monies.
It can happen. Thanks again for the heads up.

All 250,000 should be thrown out and notices sent to those on the list to re-register. If they don't meet the deadline to register, then they don't vote.

Works for Me!

Yeah, we learned in Milwaukee and Miami, among other places, when the dead rose from their coffins to vote just in time beat the curfew. What did you learn, Mr. Stein? That these fake SS#s belong predominantly to Republicans and Naderites?

Breath on a mirror, something like a pulse and the completion of the voter registration sheet on the back of a Dss-2921. the basic application form for all forms of welfare in the state.

Most people, and most states, would have taken the inscription on the STATUE OF LIBERTY metaphorically...give me your tired, your poor, your wretched refuse...etc" New York takes it quite literally: there is no garbage we turn back.

This is something that should create worry to all Republicans!

I can't believe it doesn't even take a picture ID to vote! Thumb prints should also be required.

We are on the verge of having elections stolen by phoney voters and tgose voting 5-20 times each!

To: ableChair; television is just wrong

I'm sending the article to the Governator and my Congressman asking when California will be undertaking such verification of voter rolls.

I have said for years, since the Kennedy win, that the Republicans probably have to have a 10% majority in the vote in order to break even in the count.

Maybe the MSM and NY election officials need to hear Made In USA's suggestion:

"All 250,000 should be thrown out and notices sent to those on the list to re-register. If they don't meet the deadline to register, then they don't vote."

And there should be penalties attached for either not checking or not following through.

Either the bureaucracy is complicit, incompetent or both. Do bureaucrats get a free pass?

Every illegal vote renders a valid citizen's vote worthless. As I see it, this is real civil rights violation on a grand scale.

Almost everyone I know in NYC is reistered to vote in 2 states. None of them have ever voted twice. They claim residences out of state for cheaper auto insurance premiums.

Perhaps the taxing authorities and the insurance companies may want to hear about this?

Speaking of car registration ....

The last time I was at the DMV (and it's been awhile), there was a group of 7 "migrants" wanting to register a car, and the clerk was explaining to them that they couldn't ALL be on the registration.
