Dear Dan Rather,
Your attempt to slander our President has failed. What's next?

I wonder how long CBS will stonewall on this? More material
analysis, and witnesses are comming forward. They look more
dishonest at CBS by the hour.

I'm starting to suspect that Dan's secret source for these "memos" is named Kenneth.

Rather seems to have more trouble with the truth than the Nebrask Ath. Director did during the head coaching search.

Slowly but surely it's coming to a head.
Can't wait to pop it.

This whole episode continues to amaze me!
Dan Rather was caught with his journalistic "pants down". Instead of pulling them up and apologizing like a man, he's said; "Who are you going to believe, your eyes or me?"
Damn Dan, the lying man! What did you know? And when did you know it?

"They're forged as hell," said Earl W. Lively, 76lol....I guarantee this old geezer lives up to his name.

Great article, but the headline should read:
Bush "Guard papers" FORGED!

Thanks. Have forwarded this article on.

I just keep wondering how they could be so stupid. I ask if there is something they could gain from it and can't find any good answers. Maybe they fell for Michael Moore's view of Americans but I just don't know how they could be this stupid. Did they get the Clinton's arrogance disease?

Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe called the documents "further evidence, really, that George W. Bush failed this country when it was his time to serve and he hid out." He suggested that White House political adviser Karl Rove might have been the one who supplied CBS News with the documents.
McAuliffe is losing his mind here. He's simultaneously suggesting the documents are damning proof about the president and that they are fake.
This seems like a blatant attempt to throw mud, even contradictory mud, in sound-bite sized snippets and hope that something sticks.

CBS said yesterday it was "adamantly defending the authenticity of the memos," and claimed "experts who examined the memos concluded they were authentic documents," "This report was not based solely on recovered documents, but rather on a preponderance of evidence, including documents that were provided by unimpeachable sources, interviews with former Texas National Guard officials and individuals who worked closely back in the early 1970s with Colonel Jerry Killian and were well acquainted with his procedures, his character and his thinking," the network said. OK, Rather. Name those unimpeachable sources. Who gave them to you? The DNC? The Kerry Campaign? Hillary? Fidel Castro? Obviously it was someone you trusted implicitly. Obviously it was someone who provided you with information before that you trusted. Who was it?
What do you know, and when did you know it?
BTW, where the heck is the FBI?
