CBS said yesterday it was "adamantly defending the authenticity of the memos," and claimed "experts who examined the memos concluded they were authentic documents," "This report was not based solely on recovered documents, but rather on a preponderance of evidence, including documents that were provided by unimpeachable sources, interviews with former Texas National Guard officials and individuals who worked closely back in the early 1970s with Colonel Jerry Killian and were well acquainted with his procedures, his character and his thinking," the network said.

OK, Rather. Name those unimpeachable sources. Who gave them to you? The DNC? The Kerry Campaign? Hillary? Fidel Castro? Obviously it was someone you trusted implicitly. Obviously it was someone who provided you with information before that you trusted. Who was it?

What do you know, and when did you know it?

BTW, where the heck is the FBI?

If Dan Rather's sources are "unimpeachable", why won't they step forward? By definition, they can't be impeached. So they won't be embarrassed.
