"Don’t you wish you could regulate us?"

McCain-Feingold sure is trying to regulate us. With the 60-day gag rule, the news media slides right into the driver's seat. Maybe there should be some additional "equal-time" rules:

1) For every piece of feces thrown at one candidate, and equal amount of feces must be thrown at the other candidate.

2) Media must practice due diligence to ensure that forged, false, or otherwise inaccurate feces is not used in "reporting".

3) "Fair and Balanced" must be practiced, and not just on Fox.

Concerning McCain-Feingold, don't forget that I'm putting my neck on the line ti challenge that law by running ads that it forbids, this fall. See second link below.
