GWBush made a very good speech for 9/11 surrounded by families.

Kerry will deliver the opposing response in an hour or so.

I wish I'd heard the speech. I simply do not understand how he can give an "opposing" speech.

Will look for a transcript later or freeper responses that are specific.

And to my knowledge, he has yet to acknowledge the masacre of Russian children.

It's like the millenium starting in 2001. 1776 itself counts as the first year of independence, not AFTER independence, so it comes out right, I think. :)

Kerry mentioned getting the terrorists before they get us. Is he now for preemption after he was against it?

Thanks. LOL Bad enough I am 54 years of age, but, one good thing using their math, I can apply for one of those '55 and over' retirement communities now.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, John F'n Kerry, Singular Hero of the Vietnam War, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the medals I threw over the White House fence, do hereby proclaim Friday, September 10, through Sunday, September 12, 2004, as National Days of Indifference. I ask that the people of the United States and places of worship mark these National Days of Nuance and Indifference with wind surfing, the playing of my Vietnam films, and evening recreations of my war in Camboda. I invite the people of the world to share in these Days of Nuance and Indifference to the fictitious 9/11.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this tenth day of September, in the year of the victory in Vietnam thirty one.

John F'n Kerry

with a critical eye: This commentary was "adequate". He went into the typical working class anecdotes. (rich people who may have died do not count. The churches insided the towers did not count.)

Nothing special, nothing inspiring. Kerry was just just talking to mark (urinate) territory.

Did anyone hear anything more?

Bob Beckel is when I turned Neil off. Then I wrote two letters to Neil and Fox telling them I did so and asking why, on this day, do we have to listen to the political hate rehtoric which is dividing our country far more than the enemy could. The American people need this one day.

Heard SKerry talking, glanced at the picture, somehow it continued and I didn't hear a word until Neal Cavuto started talking again. Must have been the old monotone that went right through my brain w/o registering.

Kerrys radio address is up for those strong stomachs...

Radio Address to the Nation - John Kerry
September 11, 2004 - "That terrible day has renewed our sense of purpose. And in the years ahead we will share its lessons with our children and grandchildren. We will tell them that on September 11th, ordinary men and women became heroes at a moment’s notice – and so can you. We will tell them that we were strong because we took care of each other – and so can you. We will tell them that we came together in tragedy, chose confidence over fear, and that our love for America far outshone the darkness of those who hate us."

Is Kerry completely nuts? If he had any respect at all for what happened to this country 3 years ago today, he would make no statements, no campaign appearances, or conduct no interviews today. The Rats have no class, and no sense of decency, whatsoever.
