Question: Dan Rather, on CBS 60 Minutes, presented fake documents to the American people in an attempt to discredit President Bush. Slander and Libel charges are in order for Mr. Rather. If this is the way that 60 minutes would try to turn an election than CBS is nothing less than a liberal Pravda. Your company advertises on CBS and unless you either pull your CBS advertising or Dan Rather resigns and appologizes for his slander and libel of the President than I intend to cancel my Sprint service and switch to AT&T and I will advise my friends and family to cancel their accounts with Sprint.
Sincerely, Thomas Webb

WAY TO GO!! This is where the pressure should be.
That's where it hurts!!! Freepers rock.
If the documents in question, are conclusively proven to be a fraud, there are SEVERAL criminal laws that come into play...
18 U.S.C. 372 - Conspiracy to impede or injure officer - Fines and up to 6 years in prison
18 U.S.C. 494 - Contractors' bonds, bids, and public records
18 U.S.C. 1001. - Statements or entries generally (Fraud)
CBS 60 Minutes Hit Piece on Bush

(GREAT OVERLAY PIECE)The most important thing you can do is to contact CBS and voice your disgust about Dan Rather. Second, about CBS's anti-Bush taint, and third, send media links to the controversy to the advertisers and lodge a complaint with the advertisers that they must repudiate the 60 Minutes hit piece.
Complain to CBS advertisers. Most of these are advertisers that were involved with the 60 Minutes slam on Bush, but hey, complain to them and ask for them to pull their advertising from the Bush Hating CBS...
Standard PR response is that they don't know where / when their ads will run. JUST LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU DON'T ACCEPT THAT THEY CAN'T MAKE A REQUEST, OR THAT THEY CAN'T ABSOLUTELY INSIST THAT THEIR ADS NOT BE SHOWN IN POLITICAL HIT PIECES. THEY'RE THE CUSTOMER AND THEY'RE ENTITLED NOT TO HAVE THEIR REPUTATION SMEARED!

Great job.
If anyone emails sponsors, please send them the link below which shows how the forgery was done.
Ask them to take a minute to watch how the forgery was done. Then ask them if they like sponsoring forgerers, liars and maybe worse?

GREAT JOB!
And THAT is the only way to talk turkey. Hit them where it hurts... in the wallet..
Let's get on it. They paid attention to what happened when they tried to slime Reagan, but, we rather than pull all dollars from advertisers who support this communist news organization, were rather happy that the movie was pulled and done with it. Sorry.. Game over. CBS did not learn it's lesson and neither did the advertisers.. time to take them all out. There little parrot mignions perhaps can find work in Cuba.
my e-m to viacom:
'Dan Rather is causing trouble enough for your companies, and before people start dumping your stock, I would have CBS make a less arrogant and biased statement about the evidence. Perhaps you could do a story about WHO provided the memo and become great journalists again?'

Sounds as though Sprint has been outsourced.
Since I don't watch CBS-Rather can someone post a list of sponsors. In contacting sponsors you need to put it in writing and send it to the President or CEO and threaten to boycott their product. Letters or emails are thrown in the trash. Find CEO and President names and addresses at the websites.
60 MINUTES IS NOT JOURNALISM IT'S SOCIALIST ACTIVISM. SPONSERS PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.
How About This??
My gut feeling is the Sumner Redstone has become a spiteful nasty old bird. He has interests in many organisations which are content to undo American culture. At this point in his life he would be happy to have Viacom tank if it meant getting Kerry elected.
The sponsors are the weak link in their chain.
I would also suggest going after CBS football sponsors. They generate a ton of revenue for CBS. All you have to do is switch brands. If it's a Budweiser commercial buy Corona or some other brand of beer. And let them know it.
And all your base are belong to us. Hahahahaha
I guess I better get cracking & send some e-mails. I use 7 of the products from these companies. Thanks for the list.
Good job!
I will start writing my own later today.
We apologize for hurting your sentiments about the American President.
And all your base are belong to us. Hahahahaha
You've got the whole room rolling with that one.
