Excellent photography Myrddin. Was that digital? Makes me sick to think of people wanting to destroy our beautiful country. We've been to Yellowstone many times and each time it is always new to us. Did you see any wildlife on your hike?

That was a digital picture taken with a Sony DSC-F717 camera. I ran into another visitor last year with the same camera on the way to the lower falls last year. The picture is taken from the platform on the west side by the brink of the 308 ft lower falls. The picture points north into the canyon. It was taken at 11:24 AM on 10/09/2004.

I resized the picture to load more quickly on a web browser. The original picture consumed 2.4 MB with 5 megapixel resolution. The resized dropped to 159 Kbytes.
